Plant Based Meal By Air Asia Flight! I am Not Expect This Good Deal and So Delicious.

Hello everyone,
Tell me a little about my experience when I went to Vietnam yesterday, that it was very difficult to get a direct flight from Medan to Ho Chi Minh City, we had to transit in Kuala Lumpur and then fly again to our destination. A little tiring because it takes quite a long time and you have to stay overnight at KLIA 2 airport.

So very excited about this flight, because it was the first time I enjoyed an overnight transit at KLIA airport and slept on the floor and chairs at the airport, it was quite interesting and it made my waist a little sore (back pain), because I arrived at the airport around 11.00 p.m. and return flight at 06.00 am. If I had to rent a hotel, it would probably be a waste, so I just slept even though it wasn't sound.

Because I expected that our morning would be very troublesome, I ordered food on the Air Asia application to add meal to breakfast. It's also quite troublesome if I have to buy food at the airport because it will take time to wait for the food to be ready to be served and I'd rather use that time to sleep. I also know that this flight is quite long, namely 2 hours, so there is time to really enjoy eating on the plane.

Strangely enough, I always like the food offered by Air Asia because it suits my taste buds. In fact, I have never missed food on an Air Asia flight, especially if it is a 2 hour journey, as long as there is no serious turbulence, then I like to eat on the plane.

It's nice when Air Asia announces a new menu which may end in an undetermined time. They announced that there is plant-based food with Indonesian flavors. There are several of them which turned out to be Plantbased and we chose those, namely Hyderabadi Vegetable Briyani and also Pak Nasser's Nasi Lemak Nabati.

I forced my husband to choose Hyderabadi vegetable briyani rice and I ate Pak Nasser's vegetable nasi lemak. Of course I bought this meal 2 days before our departure, because additions like this are only accepted 24 hours before departure. It's a very good deal to buy food on the app, because the price is very different when we buy on the plane, I can even save 50%. The total purchase of meals on this flight was around Rm 33, I paid by credit card to make the process easier.

Previously I said that I like the food on Air Asia planes because it really tastes delicious, varied and of high quality from the ingredients used. Even though this food is relatively cheap for a meal on a flight, I have never been disappointed.

They make it with love, especially regarding its rich taste. Packaged in full aluminum foil to avoid spilling and risk of being destroyed, because you know that planes often experience turbulence, so this is the right packaging, and it's also easy to heat it in the microwave.

The taste is very good, especially for Pak Nasser's vegetable nasi lemak, there is fried vegetable meat, the taste is really very good, maybe even if you don't know this is a plant-based menu you will think this is fried chicken. Then Nasi Lemak is made with coconut milk, a combination of aromatic spices and coconut milk, rich in flavour, of course high in fiber because it is made from red basmati rice, so it is quite low in calories and can still be called a healthy food.

Then there is chili sauce which tastes a little sweet, I thought it was like rendang but it tastes sweet and sour, if mixed with vegetable meat it would be very appropriate, especially in it there are green beans mixed with pumpkin, potatoes and tofu in curry. I think it's very simple and classy. I didn't expect everything to be made plant-based! Do you believe it??

My husband even said this was the best plant-based food he had ever eaten, I think we will often fly to Kuala Lumpur just to enjoy food from Air Asia Flight.
