Have you ever thought that what you eat will bring you a fit body? In my opinion, you should immediately know which foods are good for your body, because food with a short process will be much better, thereby minimizing ultra-processing which will destroy good nutrition (protein and fiber).

It's been 1 year since I started the process of getting better, especially regarding food. Being healthy and fit will make me better through the day. I have started to become someone who likes vegetables, even though it is very difficult for me to go through, I am like a baby who refuses to eat vegetables.

Healthy food is not about bland food. Often many people who are starting to live a healthy life think that living a healthy life is about eat lots of fruit and vegetables, but don't think about what nutrients are contain in the food we eat every day. Everything must be nutritionally balance, compotition protein, carbohydrates, fat and fiber balance in daily food.

Macronutrients have a very good impact on the body, of course you have to eat with enjoyment with a taste that is rich in spices, not bland and not food that is just boiled. That's why we have to keep learning to know what spices are good and delicious for a banquet.

I came up with a brilliant idea, starting with buying some spices at a supermarket in Penang. MyDin, that's where I found some super cheap and complete Indian spices. I bought some to take home and make into a delicious meal. Pav Bhaji is one of them. I love Pav Bhaji because with just bread alone, it is really delicious! I just found out it's full of vegetables.

This is how I made it! Pav Bhaji

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 part of the pack (30 gr Pav Bhaji Seasoning)
  • 200 gr potatoes
  • 100 gr carrots
  • 200 gr cauliflower
  • 50 gr chickpeas
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 4-5 cloves of garlic
  • 50 ml canola oil
  • 2 liters of water
  • Coriander leaves

How to Make Pav Bhaji:

  • The vegetables and beans that I use should be boiled until they become soft, it takes quite a long time to boil, especially without using pressure cooker. Previously peeled and washed clean, cut into small pieces and boiled for 1 hour.

  • There is a technique for boiling so that it doesn't get too soft, add some vegetables that take a long time to boil, such as chickpeas, potatoes and carrots. After 30 minutes, add the cauliflower and chopped tomatoes.

  • Onion and garlic that have been washed and peeled, then chopped but not too fine, so that there is a little texture that can still be felt in the pav bhaji.

  • All ingredients are mixed and filtered from the water, then crushed to a porridge-like consistency. Adjust the texture as you like, because I think that's the important thing.

  • Saute the onion and garlic in canola oil, stir-fry until the onion is wilted and slightly fragrant. Then put all the ground vegetables into the wokpan and mix with the packaged pav bhaji spices. Stir and add a little water to make it thicker.

  • Pour coriander leaves over the prepared pav bhaji. You can enjoy it with slices of bread, but for me, pav bhaji like this is really delicious to eat!

I agree with you that there must always be a nutritional balance, which is why it is good to look for various alternatives, recipes and ingredients that enrich our diet. The use of spices is what brings food to life, and Indian spices are great. Good dish you have prepared. Greetings @aswita
