Giving is better than receiving. Making rice box for everyone.

The sentence my mother once said when I had an argument with my friend one day is still very much in my head. She said that I should give more than receive. At that time, I was fighting with my little friend because they were fighting over a toy. Then my mother scold me and said that. She didn't ask me to give, but I have to be more of a good peope and will to giving.

That's when I realize, the words my mother said meant a lot to this day. That sentence made me have to be someone who can give even in trouble. Whenever I have excess money, I always set aside to give, even if it's just a small thing. Giving will not make you poor, that's the right sentence.

Have you ever giving something when you were have a hard time? I've done it before. It felt like something good happen after that. I don't know, my problem will just be easy or someone will help me. Even, it's not always the case. My problem can be resolved just like that. I want to be a better human being, not necessarily too good. At least you can share it with people around you.

This is not an article to make you have to share, but this article will be a reminder for me when I am in difficult times. That I once did something good and it will make me much better. Friday, when I was busy with many things, I took a little time to cook for the couriers who often come to deliver our packages. As someone who has a small online business, almost every hour a package courier arrives. That's why my goal this time is to share food with them.

Lunch Menu in One Box Thats Everyone Liked

IMG_6850.jpeg

I bought this food paper, unique enough to make rice boxes, enough for lunch. Even though at first I was confused about what to make, the important thing is that I bought a rice box first and I'll think about what to make tomorrow. At night, I fold this rice box and prepare several things for tomorrow.

In the morning, while I exercise, I think about what menu is suitable to fill the rice box. I think it's simple food and is generally liked by Indonesians. Rice box filled with rice and noodles, along with a side dish of chicken. So, I'm thinking about making marinated chicken but it has a slightly sweet taste. In my mind, quick cooking because I don't have much time in the kitchen.

How about black pepper chicken? I thought it was interesting, although I know it doesn't seem real to Indonesians in general. Black pepper chicken is not a common dish, it looks very luxurious to us. I think that would make people happy! Giving is better if it is presented very well. The person who receives will feel very appreciated, because the word 'give' actually means sincerity without oppressing others.

Make a simple rice box, with ingredients that I can easily buy at the traditional market. This time we have to prepare a side dish in the form of fried noodles filled with vegetables as fiber. Carbohydrates will be slowly digested if there is a lot of fiber, so this food can be categorized as diabetes friendly.

Then prepare the black pepper chicken marinated with the perfect local spices. I marinate it before going to the gym and leave it to fry later. I make my own seasoned flour. Then I fried it after everything was ready to marinate. The important part in making fried chicken is small pieces, such as popcorn fried chicken. I think it's the perfect size for this medium sized rice box.

I make black pepper sauce easily. I put all the ingredients; sesame oil, teriyaki sauce, chicken oil, black pepper and tomato sauce become one on the bowl. Then add a little cornstarch with water and mix till blended. Then everything is stir evenly, heat the wok pan with little of oil. Then sauté the garlic and onions. After that, put the ingredients in the bowl and wait until everything thickens.

After everything was prepared, I also didn't forget to cook the rice. At least, this rice box will still be warm when it reaches the person it is intended for. I put rice first in the box, then noodles and fried chicken. On top of the fried chicken, I poured 1 tablespoon of black pepper sauce. To come in there is a crunchy texture from the fried chicken.

Don't forget to decorate it with a little lettuce from the front of the house. What I have harvested and can be enjoyed by many people. Time to wait for the courier to come home! I didn't take a photo when I distributed this rice box. I guess it would make the person receiving it feel uncomfortable.

You did really a good thing, I think giving it's very important, sometimes we are too selfish and we forget about the others, I'm sure everyone will appreciate your rice 💕
