I really believe in the unique civilization in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, with its various interesting places, as if it took me to the 1980s, where this city is very different from most cities in Asia. Ho Chi Minh took me to the golden age, old is gold.

Hi, let me introduce myself, i am Aswita and I want to tell you about an interesting trip to a place that I think is worth telling you, especially for those of you who are interest in architecture and design of buildings, parks and places that have a touch of art. This time, itsabout a classic colonial style building in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam: Cong Vien Lam Son.

If you search for the keyword 'Tourist Destinations in Ho Chi Minh City' then you will be appoint to one of these classic building, Cong Vien Lam Son, where this building is a Saigon Opera House which is still in use and active till now, which is a the work of Eugene Ferret, a French architect, so this building look very colonial French.

I'm walking around the centre of Ho Chi Minh City to enjoy a short vacation and this night I will be go to Da Lat city, so I only have a short time to enjoy the beauty of Ho Chi Minh City. I have visiting several places and this is one of them.

This building quite a history attach to Ho Chi Minh City, so if you have a much time, take the time to visit this building or even enjoy the opera, AO Opera, its only 700.000vnd for a ticket. But, this time I no have enough time, so I could only walk around the building and enjoy this even if only from the camera on my cellphone.

It is quite interesting because this building is very big and built on a large land, is close to another historical buildings, cause the center of Ho Chi Minh City can be access by any vehicle, it is very easy to get to this place. This building so very busy with the people, I can see it by looking at the parking lot which is full of motorcycle, cars, there are even lots of tour buses parking in front of it.

At the front of the Saigon Opera House, there are two standing statues which form the pillars of the front door of the building, as if they are lifting the front roof, they are only covered by a cloth hanging from their waists. Likewise with the carvings on the door with 2 angels wearing wings. This building truly displays mini France in its entirety with a style that is very different from other buildings in the city.

The interesting thing is, apart from the opera house, there are also gardens that surround this building from the front, back and sides. So this building is very spacious and far from other buildings. On the right and left, there is a fairly large garden, used as a parking area and also a small garden with a pond and fountain. The pool with the shower is also very classic, because it is made of a statue showing a woman playing the violin.

This building has a fairly large garden at the back, you can see that the garden looks neat with guitar accents, notes, grass, flowers and even doves that enliven this place. It looked very well maintained, where the grass and flowers were cleaned every day, so I didn't see a single fallen tree branch in the garden.

A very beautiful and green park, even in the middle of a very busy city, this park is very soothing to the soul, because it is very quiet from people and maybe only a few people know about this park.

See you the next time hive friends!

Hi @aswita the building and impressive, I loved the facade and its decorative sculptures that seem to hold the roof, the decorations of the arch are very beautiful, definitely a great work worth visiting as well as the park that is ideal place to enjoy the goodness of the green landscape while contemplating the imposing building and its surroundings.

Greetings!
