Muy buenas compañeros de Hive, espero que estén de lo mejor. El día de hoy otorgándoles buena información de el contenido musical lanzado recientemente. Para esta ocasión, tengo el agrado de presentarles un álbum colaborativo de parte de el grupo musical Rawayana, lleno de buena música, canciones con mensajes mas allá de la letra y una incógnita que les comentare, todo esto y mas en este post. Sin mas que agregar comencemos.

Hello fellow Hive members, I hope you are doing great. Today I am bringing you good information about the recently released musical content. For this occasion, I am pleased to present a collaborative album from the musical group Rawayana, full of good music, songs with messages beyond the lyrics and an unknown that I will tell you, all this and more in this post. Without further ado, let's get started.

¿Quienes son Rawayana?/Who are Rawayana?

Aunque desde este hemisferio norte ya mucha gente los conoce, especialmente en los lugares de habla hispana, Rawayana aun necesita un poco de presentación, como toda buena banda que quiere expandir su imperio musical. Rawayana es una banda que fue formada por cuatro amigos en 2007, teniendo a Alberto Beto Montenegro como su voz principal, Antony Casas en el bajo y en la producción de segunda voz o coros, Andrés Story en la batería y también en los coros y Alejandro Abeijón en la guitarra y los coros, tiempo después se uniría Eddie Cisneros en los sintetizadores y coros.

Although from this northern hemisphere many people already know them, especially in Spanish-speaking places, Rawayana still needs a little introduction, like any good band that wants to expand its musical empire. Rawayana is a band that was formed by four friends in 2007, with Alberto Beto Montenegro on lead vocals, Antony Casas on bass and backing vocals, Andres Story on drums and backing vocals and Alejandro Abeijon on guitar and backing vocals, later joined by Eddie Cisneros on synthesizers and backing vocals.

El genero que estos muchachos llegaron a formalizar para esta banda, fue una rara pero buena combinación entre el Ska y el Reggae, como el pollo frito y la miel. Aunque también han tocado Rock alternativo, psicodélico con pequeños toques de Pink Floyd y un estilo Funky llamativo. Desde sus inicios han sido una banda que ha llamado muchísimo la atención, mas cuando sacaron su canción llamada "Algo Distinto" la cual hizo que los catapultara de manera espectacular a obtener cierta cantidad de popularidad, no solo de manera local, sino regional y también internacional.

The genre that these guys came to formalize for this band, was a rare but good combination between Ska and Reggae, like fried chicken and honey. Although they have also played alternative Rock, psychedelic with little touches of Pink Floyd and a flashy Funky style. Since their beginnings they have been a band that has attracted a lot of attention, especially when they released their song "Algo Distinto" which catapulted them in a spectacular way to obtain a certain amount of popularity, not only locally, but also regionally and internationally.

Rawayana, ese nombre para mi significa mucho, no solo desde el punto de un fan, si no por los recuerdos que me trae haberlos escuchado desde 2016 con su canción "High" en acompañamiento con Apache. Dicha canción les otorgo no solo reconocimiento global si no también la oportunidad de generar giras en Europa, estados unidos y en gran parte de Latinoamérica. Recuerdo muchísimo como todos estábamos hablando de Rawayana y su tema "High" el cual se escuchaba en todas las radios del país sin cesar, fue toda una sensación y no lo han dejado de ser.

Rawayana, that name means a lot to me, not only from the point of view of a fan, but also because of the memories I have of listening to them since 2016 with their song "High" in accompaniment with Apache. That song gave them not only global recognition but also the opportunity to generate tours in Europe, the United States and much of Latin America. I remember very much how we were all talking about Rawayana and their song "High" which was heard in all the radios of the country incessantly, it was a sensation and they have not stopped being.

Este álbum me causa mucha intriga por ciertas relaciones con un evento realizado hace tiempo, pero primero explicare un poco cómo fue lanzado. Este álbum consta de un total de 15 canciones con participaciones de personajes como Akapellah, Amigos Invisibles, Cheo Pardo, Fer Casillas, Tal Cohen, Joel Martinez. Su tema de entrada fue llamado "Nuestro Amanecer" donde hacen referencia al tema de la migración junto a un pensamiento de todo joven venezolano el cual dice "Yo no se porque naci, donde naci. En medio de un conflicto que no siento mío" haciendo alusión a la situación política de Venezuela.

This album causes me a lot of intrigue because of certain relations with an event that took place some time ago, but first I will explain a little about how it was released. This album consists of a total of 15 songs with the participation of characters such as Akapellah, Amigos Invisibles, Cheo Pardo, Fer Casillas, Tal Cohen, Joel Martinez. Their opening track was called "Nuestro Amanecer" (Our Dawn) where they make reference to the subject of migration along with a thought of every young Venezuelan which says "I don't know why I was born, where I was born. In the middle of a conflict that I don't feel mine" alluding to the political situation in Venezuela.

Entrando un poco mas a fondo en cada canción, podemos ver como se representa este tema como una base fundamental entre las canciones, no en todas se cumple esta regla, sin embargo también podemos presenciar el tema de la política en la canción titulada "Vayanse todos a Mama" que en su coro habla sobre como ellos no quieren formar parte de un bando político, pues ninguno les brinda seguridad de nada, esto lo dice en su coro "Desde los años 50, con la misma pendeja, no soy derecha ni izquierda, váyanse todos a mama"

Going a little deeper into each song, we can see how this theme is represented as a fundamental basis among the songs, not in all of them this rule is fulfilled, however we can also witness the theme of politics in the song titled "Vayanse todos a Mama" which in its chorus talks about how they do not want to be part of a political side, because none of them gives them security of anything, this is said in its chorus "Since the 50s, with the same pendeja, I am not right or left, váyanse todos a mama".

Otro tema donde podemos ver este contexto es en la canción llamada F-350 en colaboración con el rapero Akapellah, que con su nombre hacen alusión a un modelo de camión de la marca Ford. Donde en el tema se menciona que esta lleno de pecado, donde los conductores son los políticos

Another theme where we can see this context is in the song called F-350 in collaboration with the rapper Akapellah, whose name alludes to a Ford truck model. The song mentions that it is full of sin, where the drivers are the politicians.

Alejándonos un poco del tema de la politica, tambien tenemos temas como "Mi amigo Luis" donde se le conmemora a un compañero de la banda que falleció. Donde se le recuerda como aquella persona que era la mas simpática del grupo, super buena onda, con un flow fresco y original. Es aquella canción que le dedicarias a aquel amigo extrovertido del grupo que saca a bailar a la vecina si esta de malas.

Moving away from politics, we also have songs like "Mi amigo Luis" where we commemorate a band mate who passed away. Where he is remembered as the nicest person in the group, super cool, with a fresh and original flow. It is the song that you would dedicate to that extroverted friend of the band who would make the neighbor dance if she was in a bad mood.

Palabras Finales/Final Words

Sin duda este álbum es algo que debemos reconocer por su frescura en calidad y su originalidad sobre los temas tocados y como los tocaron. No tengo nada mas que decir, además de recomendar al 100% este álbum para escucharlo y comprenderlo, tanto armónicamente como analógicamente. Sin mas que agregar, nos vemos en una siguiente edición.

Undoubtedly this album is something we must recognize for its freshness in quality and its originality on the themes played and how they played them.
