The Journey That Matters - || Choosing Between Success & Meaning ||
In our daily lives what I see these days that people are too busy to look out to themselves, businesses, jobs and own affairs rather than other things that matter in social life. But to common matter of purpose, I just want to ask that how cared are we to go and seek out to know if the other part of the society, neighbourhoods or the relatives are happy or not?
Someday we get real success in the affairs of life and some day we dont get. Thats normal to have both failures and success at the same time - but do we are destined to be the element to seek out to search for success only and reject failures?
At the end of the day, such things dont matter really and while we pass out days, we tend to remember failures more than successes. You can say why that goes this way, but here is what I think that we are more influenced by those facts that have brought us somewhere to tears.
As a person, you have had that in life and so as all of us. Memories kept the journey meaningful when we have learned something greater from petty mistakes that we have had and for that when life didnt go to a solid way where it should have gone as we wished to happen for long time.
Again, it is more of the mindset that people posit to their real time values and learning backed by experiences. Somebody likes to be glorious and proud of what they built - it could be a reputation, fame, riches, knowledge, power or social impact to legacy that carries on. Even there are people who like to thank the folks who helped to climb up the ladder from success to failures.
Writing this post for the tribe of Neoxian also brings to me good memories that I have had right from the year I joined this forum and continued time to time, over the months of time of blogging and then some discontinued breaks. Because what I felt that I have more tasks to complete as a matter of priority, that would be very important turning out to be in life.
So years moved on and felt like more than posting on regular basis on Hive, there are more things and matters that make more values to life itself. I found values on connecting and talking to people over social media platforms, making engagement through making comments and being a part of the story that they share.
Sometimes we try to be selfish and busy in looking out to own affairs and just as I said in own personal real life to the most part and that doesnt make the approach meaningful in the long run. It is true in Hive also. There are some Hivers who cling to posting more and they make plans to get some of their supports from peers and whales.
That goes like a business purpose and truly which is not like social media experience. But Hive is more of a decentralized media and where social interaction gets more value. But if it takes to little lucrative values, still there are good returns when some of the co-authors turn into friends and they sustain in the long run.
I hope to be so and dont know where my journey would stop and I wish that it goes on endless basis and find good friends who would be my companions and go a long way into the coming future.
