Review of Danny Ocean's new songs🎶💜 [ESP-ENG]
Hace una semana Danny Ocean sacó nuevas canciones, que en principio pensaba que era parte de un nuevo álbum, pero son la segunda parte de su disco @dannocean. Danny es uno de mis cantantes favoritos, es venezolano y sus ritmos y letras suelen ser increíbles. Si en algún momento llega a hacer un concierto en el país, trabajaría para ir, sin duda, porque en serio disfruto mucho de sus canciones.
Ahora, retomando un poco el tema principal de este post, sacó 9 canciones nuevas, de las cuales algunas me gustaron, ya que escuchamos a Danny cantando ritmos fuera de su estilo y a su vez, haciendo colaboraciones muy buenas... así que sin más, a continuación mi respectiva reseña y opinión sobre algunas de estas canciones, espero les entretenga, jeje🎶.

A week ago Danny Ocean released new songs, which at first I thought were part of a new album, but they are the second part of his album @dannocean. Danny is one of my favorite singers, he's Venezuelan and his rhythms and lyrics are usually amazing. If he ever gets to do a concert in the country, I would work to go, no doubt, because I seriously enjoy his songs a lot.
Now, going back a bit to the main topic of this post, he released 9 new songs, some of which I liked, since we hear Danny singing rhythms out of his style and at the same time, making very good collaborations... so without further ado, here is my respective review and opinion about some of these songs, I hope you enjoy them, hehe🎶.
Bring me back to life
Esta primera canción no me encanta, no siento que tenga mucha ciencia más allá de solo ser una canción que se podría dedicar, ya que trata de una ruptura y el quiere que "lo devuelva a la vida" porque siente que no puede con ese desamor, al menos eso medio entiendo yo jajaj. Se rescata que tiene un ritmo chévere, pero de verdad considero que Danny tiene mejores canciones, sin embargo al ser algo diferente, lo considero bastante válido.
I don't love this first song, I don't feel it has much science beyond just being a song that could be dedicated, since it's about a breakup and he wants me to "bring him back to life" because he feels he can't handle that heartbreak, at least that's what I half understand hahahah. It has a cool rhythm, but I really think that Danny has better songs, however being something different, I consider it quite valid.

En cambio esta que sigue si es mucho más aceptable, es una colaboración con Big Soto, otro cantante venezolano de música urbana. La canción es una propuesta a bailar, y besarse de nuevo, ya que dos personas que no están juntas casualmente se encuentran en una misma fiesta; mencionan que es comprensible que ambos hayan tomado su camino, pero él aún la quiere y pues quisiera volver a vivir algo con esa chica. No es de mis favoritas, es también de solo enviársela a alguien con esa misma intención, o escucharla y cantarla con ese deseo, de resto no es el tipo de canción que escucharía con frecuencia porque no me siento tan identificada.
This next one is much more acceptable, it is a collaboration with Big Soto, another Venezuelan singer of urban music. The song is a proposal to dance, and kiss again, as two people who are not together casually meet at the same party; they mention that it is understandable that both have gone their own way, but he still loves her and would like to live something with that girl again. It's not one of my favorites, it's also just to send it to someone with that same intention, or listen to it and sing it with that desire, otherwise it's not the kind of song I would listen to often because I don't feel so identified.
Las estrellas/Si tu me love me
En este caso en particular, es interesante que aquí hay dos canciones juntas en compañía de Elena Rose, con ritmos y letras totalmente diferentes. La primera, Las Estrellas, me gusta, es romántica, me gusta que hace referencia a que esa persona especial es una estrella y siente que con ella todo está bien; para dedicarla es muy linda, el ritmo es más énergico, así que sin tienen pareja esta podría ser una bonita canción para cantarla entre ambos, jeje, mas que ,todo porque la letra es muy natural, algo que fácil podrías recordar siempre, pero con un ritmo chévere.
Por otra parte, la segunda habla de que aunque ambas personas se querían y "tenían todo" la relación no se dió, y no entienden el porqué. Sin embargo dicen que si la chica no quiere algo serio, podría ser de a rato, por decirlo de alguna forma, y que el sigue esperándola para intentar que algo suceda. Esta canción tiene un ritmo también chévere, igual que las anteriores, siento que es más dedicada a personas que estén o hayan pasado por situaciones así, la podría disfrutar más. Aún no comprendo el porqué de estas dos canciones unidas, pero es algo diferente y totalmente válido, por supuesto jajaj...

The first one, Las Estrellas, I like it, it is romantic, I like that it refers to the fact that that special person is a star and feels that with her everything is fine; to dedicate it is very nice, the rhythm is more energetic, so if you have a partner this could be a nice song to sing between both, hehe, more than ,all because the lyrics are very natural, something that you could easily remember always, but with a cool rhythm.On the other hand, the second one talks about the fact that although both people loved each other and "had everything" the relationship didn't work out, and they don't understand why. However, they say that if the girl doesn't want something serious, it could be for a while, so to speak, and that he is still waiting for her to try to make something happen. This song also has a cool rhythm, just like the previous ones, I feel that it is more dedicated to people who are or have gone through situations like this, I could enjoy it more. I still don't understand the reason for these two songs together, but it's something different and totally valid, of course hahahaha....
Pa que me llamas?
Seguimos con la misma temática de ruptura, en esta oportunidad él es el que está renuente, ya que da a entender que la chica lo está buscando luego de haber terminado y él quiere que lo deje en paz, que no lo busque, ni que lo llame, porque además, está con otra persona. Éstas nuevas canciones de Danny tienen en común esto de expresar un sentimiento, de desahogar, o para hacerle saber a otra persona algo en específico. Hasta ahora, no son canciones que para mi sean disfrutables y con letras que se sientan en el alma para cantarlas a todo pulmón, independientemente de si estás envuelto en una situación similar a la de la canción o no. Es una propuesta diferente a lo acostumbrado por Danny Ocean, y como mencioné anteriormente, habrán personas que las disfruten más que otras por el hecho de sentirse identificadas, pero de resto, a mi perspectiva, Danny tiene mejores canciones.

These new songs of Danny have in common this to express a feeling, to unburden, or to let another person know something specific. So far, they are not songs that for me are enjoyable and with lyrics that feel in the soul to sing them at the top of your lungs, regardless of whether you are involved in a situation similar to the one in the song or not. It is a different proposal to what Danny Ocean is used to, and as I mentioned before, there will be people who enjoy them more than others because they feel identified, but otherwise, in mperspective, Danny has better songs.
SI ES AMOR
Ahora si pasamos a una de las canciones que verdaderamente me gustan, en especial porque ¡es una Salsa! Un género totalmente diferente al habitual en Danny... me gusta mucho cuando Artistas se atreven a salir de sus zonas de confort, y lo digo en plural porque en esta increíble canción él está en compañía de Beéle, un cantante de Dancehall y Música Isleña principalmente, colombiano pero criado en Venezuela. Para este post estuve investigando un poco más de estos artistas, y Beéle tiene exactamente mi edad, 19 años, o sea es un artista muy joven que se ha logrado posicionar muy bien dentro del mundo musical; quedé impactada al enterarme de eso, porque en serio tiene muchísimo tanlento y que se haya atrevido a hacer una Salsa junto a Danny Ocean de verdad merece reconociemiento, porque la canción es excelente, sin dejar de lado esos ritmos característicos de ambos.
La principio no te imaginas que esta canción va a parar en una Salsa, y es lo lindo de todo, que es sorpresivo, el ritmo es súper rico, la energía que transmite es hermosa, porque es una cancion romántica, la letra relata que lo que hay entre esas dos personas es verdadero amor, (por eso el nombre de la canción) se siente mucho ese cariño, en serio me encanta muchísimo esta canción, algo diferente con ritmos Urbanos, Salsa y un poco de Son. La armonía de los instrumentos y las voces es un verdadero espectáculo... esta canción es un completo 10/10.
Now let's move on to one of the songs that I really like, especially because it's a Salsa! A totally different genre from Danny's usual.... I really like when artists dare to go out of their comfort zones, and I say it in plural because in this incredible song he is in the company of Beéle, a Dancehall and Islander singer mainly, Colombian but raised in Venezuela. For this post I was researching a little more about these artists, and Beele is exactly my age, 19 years old, so he is a very young artist who has managed to position himself very well in the music world; I was shocked to learn that, because seriously he has a lot of talent and that he has dared to make a Salsa with Danny Ocean really deserves recognition, because the song is excellent, without leaving aside those characteristic rhythms of both.
At first you do not imagine that this song will end up in a Salsa, and that's the beauty of it all, it is surprising, the rhythm is super rich, the energy that transmits is beautiful, because it is a romantic song, the lyrics relate that what there is between these two people is true love, (hence the name of the song) you feel a lot of that love, seriously I love this song, something different with Urban rhythms, Salsa and a little Son. The harmony of the instruments and the voices is a true spectacle... this song is a complete 10/10.
NO ES AMOR
Al contrario de la canción anterior, sin dejar atrás los ritmos latinos, Danny nos sorprende ahora primeramente con la compañía de Mora, un cantante de Reggaeton puertorriqueño, dos voces juntas que complementan muy bien en esta canción que tiene ritmos de Bachata. No es una Bachata propiamente, tiene igual su base de reggaeton, pero esa fusión de géneros suena tan bien gente, de verdad se aplaude la originalidad y una vez más, a los artistas por salir de sus zonas de confort.
La letra también se logra sentir muchísimo, ya que es una disculpa y expresa como esa frustración por engañar y fallarle a esa chica que quiere. Puede describir perfectamente una historia de vida real, de hecho me gusta esa frase de Mora que dice "lo siento por todas las veces que fallé, estaba tratando de encontrarme pero no me hallé, me olvidé del hoy, pendiente del ayer..." y lo que sigue a esa frase es que le sería un placer volver a conocer a la chica e intentarlo a manera que salga bien y no perderla de nuevo... gente, ¡es muy linda la letra! Narra algo real con sentimiento y mucho ritmo, es otra canción que me encanta de todo el álbum a la que de igual forma le doy un 10/10.
Contrary to the previous song, without leaving behind the Latin rhythms, Danny surprises us now with the company of Mora, a Puerto Rican Reggaeton singer, two voices together that complement each other very well in this song that has Bachata rhythms. It's not a Bachata per se, it still has its reggaeton base, but that fusion of genres sounds so good people, we really applaud the originality and once again, the artists for stepping out of their comfort zones.
The lyrics are also very relatable, as it is an apology and expresses the frustration of cheating and failing the girl he loves. It can perfectly describe a real life story, in fact I like that phrase of Mora's that says "I'm sorry for all the times I failed, I was trying to find myself but I didn't find myself, I forgot about today, pending yesterday..." and what follows that phrase is that it would be a pleasure to meet the girl again and try to make it work and not lose her again... people, it's very nice lyrics! It narrates something real with feeling and a lot of rhythm, it's another song that I love from the whole album that I still give a 10/10.
Volare
Como penúltima canción, esta JOYA, porque eso es, todo un espectáculo de canción y una de las que más ha tenido éxito de todo el Álbum. Esta canción salió junto al video oficial hace 4 meses, pero ahora está con este otro formato de video con el que están todas las canciones anteriores. Pero lo importante no es eso, sino lo PERFECTA que es la canción con ese ritmo, la voz de Danny y la letra tan hermosa que tiene, tan romántica, que de forma resumida expresa que siempre amará a esa persona aunque no sean novios... Ademas de todo esto, hay muchísima creatividad detrás, incorporando palabras en otros idiomas, frases súper épicas, que le dan un toque muy original a la canción. Es de mis favoritas sin duda alguna y de verdad desearía poder cantar esta canción a todo pulmón en un concierto...
As penultimate song, this JEWEL, because that's what it is, a spectacle of a song and one of the most successful of the whole album. This song came out with the official video 4 months ago, but now it is with this other video format with which all the previous songs are. But the important thing is not that, but how PERFECT the song is with that rhythm, Danny's voice and the beautiful lyrics that it has, so romantic, that in short expresses that he will always love that person even if they are not boyfriend and girlfriend.... Besides all this, there is a lot of creativity behind, incorporating words in other languages, super epic phrases, which give a very original touch to the song. It is one of my favorites without any doubt and I really wish I could sing this song at the top of my lungs in a concert...

Por último esta canción que es más un desahogo, similar al estilo de las primeras canciones. No es de mis favoritas porque siento que no tiene mucho ritmo, pero hay personas que la llegan a sentir muchísimo porque también relata una situación real, que es el comenzar una nueva relación a los tres meses de haber terminado uno. De hecho es tema de debate, desde mi perspectiva hay muchos factores que pueden influir para poder decir si estuvo incorrecto o no, pero en esta oportunidad, a Danny le duele mucho la situación y piensa que no estuvo bien ese acto de parte de la chica.
Lastly, this song is more of a vent, similar to the style of the first songs. It is not one of my favorites because I feel it doesn't have much rhythm, but there are people who feel it a lot because it also relates a real situation, which is starting a new relationship three months after finishing one. In fact it is a subject of debate, from my perspective there are many factors that can influence to be able to say if it was wrong or not, but in this opportunity, Danny is very hurt by the situation and thinks that it was not right that act on the part of the girl.

Y esto ha sido todo gente mi gente hermosa, cuéntenme en los comentarios que canción fue su favorita para interactuar un poquito. Cabe destacar que coloqué las canciones en el mismo orden en la que fueron publicadas, y hubo una que no quise incluir porque nome gustó para nada la letra, ni siquiera la he llegado a escuchar completa aún, se llama Romance, y aunque Danny d verdad es uno de mis cantantes favoritos que merece incluso mucho más reconociemiento, esa canción en particular no vibró conmigo, sin embargo no quise dejar de hacerle reseña a las demás, y sobre todo a mis tres favoritas que son Si es Amor, No es Amor y Volaré... todas unas joyas de canciones.
También no se si pudieron apreciar que todos los videos fueron súper sencillos, minimalistas, muy naturales pero que le dan un toque muy chévere a todo, es algo que merece también reconocimiento. De verdad este álbum estuvo muy lleno de creatividad, variedad en géneros, colaboraciones y letras hermosas y profundas para cantar a todo pulmón... me gustó mucho realizar este post para ustedes gentecita asi que espero les haya gustado y entretenido. It is worth mentioning that I placed the songs in the same order in which they were published, and there was one that I didn't want to include because I didn't like the lyrics at all, I haven't even listened to the whole song yet, it's called Romance, and although Danny is one of my favorite singers who deserves even more recognition, that song in particular didn't vibrate with me, however I didn't want to leave out the others, and especially my three favorites which are Si es Amor, No es Amor and Volaré... all of them are jewels of songs.
