Reseña | Step Up (Bailando) [ESP-ENG]

¡Bienvenidos a mi Blog chicos, espero se encuentren todos muy bien! Es mi primera vez publicando en esta Comunidad, la principal razón por la cual no lo había hecho antes, es que nop consumo hoy día mucha televisión y por ende tampoco veo películas y son escazas las veces que me provoca, soy más de consumir Youtube jaja. Pero en esta ocasión para el día en que escribo este post, un domingo, estando en la sala de mi casa, vi que en la tele estaba comenzando esta película y como se trata de algo que, por supuesto me gusta, quise verla y luego me motivé a hacer este post jeje.

Cabe destacar que, de todas las películas de Step Up, la que menos vi de primera fue esta jajaja (que es la primera justamente) y de paso gracias a esta oportunidad me di cuenta que no la había visto completa ¿por qué razón? La verdad no se JAJA, porque soy fanática e estas pelis, pero bueno, la disfruté bastante y a continuación les voy a dejar una reseña por si alguien no la ha visto y le llama la atención.

Welcome to my Blog guys, I hope you are all very well! This is my first time posting in this Community, the main reason why I had not done it before, is that I don't consume much television nowadays and therefore I don't watch movies either and they are scarce the times that it provokes me, I am more of consuming Youtube haha. But this time for the day I write this post, one Sunday, being in the living room of my house, I saw that on TV was starting this movie and as it is about something that, of course I like, I wanted to see it and then I was motivated to make this post hehe.

It is worth noting that, of all the Step Up movies, the one I saw the least first was this one hahaha (which is the first one) and thanks to this opportunity I realized that I had not seen the whole movie for what reason? I really don't know haha, because I'm a fan of these movies, but well, I enjoyed it a lot and next I'm going to leave you a review in case someone hasn't seen it and it catches your attention.

Step Up (Bailando), es una película del 2006 de romance, drama y por supuesto, mucho baile. Está protagonizada por Tyler (Channing Tatum) y Nora (Jenna Dewan) ambos bailarines, pero Tyler es más de Hip-Hop y Nora es una bailarina más Clásica y Moderna.

La película relata la historia entre ambos personajes, Nora es Primera Bailarina de la Escuela de Artes de Maryland, y Tyler un chico de barrio que deseaba en parte dejar sus “malas andanzas” por decirlo de forma coloquial. Justo gracias a que Tyler ocasionó daños físicos a la Escuela de Arte, fue sentenciado a realizar trabajos sociales en dicha Escuela. Allí conoce a Nora, quien se estaba preparando para un concurso de baile donde podría obtener la posibilidad de ser parte de alguna compañía de baile reconocida.

La rutina que Nora era en pareja, pero su compañero se lesiona, por lo que tiene que tomar reposo y asistir a rehabilitación para luego reintegrarse cuando estuviese más apto. Pero Nora no podía dejar de ensayar así que hizo una audición entre varios integrantes de la escuela, a ver si alguno podía sustituir a su compañero mientras se recuperaba. Pero motivado a que la rutina de Nora empleaba muchos levantamientos, ningún chico logró estar a la altura ya sea por falta de fuerza o técnica. Tyler al darse cuenta de todo esto tiene la iniciativa de proponerle a Nora intentarlo (ya que ella lo había visto bailar previamente) y aunque Nora al principio no estaba muy convencida, al final aceptó por su necesidad de tener que practicar.

Step Up (Dancing), is a 2006 movie of romance, drama and of course, a lot of dancing. It stars Tyler (Channing Tatum) and Nora (Jenna Dewan) both dancers, but Tyler is more of a Hip-Hop dancer and Nora is a more Classical and Modern dancer.

The film tells the story between the two characters, Nora is a Prima Ballerina at the Maryland School of the Arts, and Tyler is a neighborhood kid who wanted to give up his "bad habits" to put it colloquially. Just because Tyler caused physical damage to the School of the Arts, he was sentenced to social work at the School of the Arts. There he met Nora, who was preparing for a dance contest where she could get the chance to be part of a recognized dance company.

Nora's routine was with a partner, but her partner got injured, so she had to take rest and attend rehabilitation, and join in when she was fitter. But Nora could not stop rehearsing, so she auditioned several members of the school to see if anyone could replace her partner while he recovered. But because Nora's routine involved a lot of lifting, none of the boys were up to the task, either for lack of strength or technique. Tyler realizing all this has the initiative to propose to Nora to try it (since she had seen him dance previously) and although Nora at first was not very convinced, in the end she accepted because of her need to have to practice.

A partir de allí comienza la travesía, al principio ambos no compaginaban mucho personalmente ni como bailarines por sus diferencias de estilos, Tyler al principio no estaba tan comprometido y llegaba tarde a los ensayos, pero conforme fueron pasando los días ambos empezaron a tener interés mutuamente al punto de enamorarse, y las cosas fluyeron mucho mejor. Incluso Nora le hizo modificaciones a su rutina, empleando pasos de Hip-Hop de Tyler, hicieron una fusión bastante chévere en cuanto a géneros de baile e instrumentos, integraron bailarines, armando un verdadero espectáculo. A raíz de esto y del enamoramiento de Tyler, éste fue un poco más disciplinado con el trabajo que venían realizando, y de forma personal también, dejando a un lado los malos pasos en su barrio, incluso se alejó momentáneamente de su mejor amigo quien no estuvo a favor de ello, pero Tyler siempre se mantuvo firme con su compromiso y con Nora.

Cuando el antiguo compañero de Nora se reintegra, Tyler lo toma de mala manera y se molesta por ello dejando de lado a Nora, pero ella intentando poner al día a su compañero con la nueva rutina, se da cuenta que no funciona y que además el chico no estaba totalmente recuperado, por lo que decide no presentarse. Esto preocupa nuevamente a Nora e intenta comunicarse con Tyler, pero él se niega. Al final, Nora pensó en que iba a perder su sueño y todo el trabajo que realizó, pero su madre la motiva a querer presentarse y ella intenta sacar una rutina individual pocos días antes de la presentación y estaba decida en hacerlo sola.

Sin embargo, en pleno día del evento, Tyler se presenta en el Teatro y busca directamente a Nora para disculparse y proponerle hacer la presentación juntos. Al principio Nora no estaba tan convencida, pero terminó aceptando y mostraron su rutina con todo el equipo de baile que formaron y, dicha presentación fue muy aplaudida y reconocida como algo diferente a lo acostumbrado.

From there began the journey, at first both did not match much personally or as dancers because of their differences in styles, Tyler at first was not so committed and was late for rehearsals, but as the days went by both began to have mutual interest to the point of falling in love, and things flowed much better. Nora even made modifications to their routine, using Tyler's Hip-Hop steps, they made a pretty cool fusion in terms of dance genres and instruments, they integrated dancers, putting together a real show. As a result of this and Tyler's crush, he became a little more disciplined with the work they had been doing, and personally as well, putting aside the bad steps in his neighborhood, even momentarily distancing himself from his best friend who was not in favor of it, but Tyler always stood firm with his commitment and with Nora.

When Nora's old partner reintegrates, Tyler takes it the wrong way and gets upset about it leaving Nora aside, but she trying to catch her partner up with the new routine, realizes that it doesn't work and also the guy wasn't fully recovered, so she decides not to show up. This again worries Nora and she tries to communicate with Tyler, but he refuses. In the end, Nora thought she was going to lose her dream and all the work she did, but her mother motivates her to want to perform and she tries to pull out an individual routine a few days before the performance and was determined to do it alone.

However, in the middle of the day of the event, Tyler shows up at the Theater and directly seeks out Nora to apologize and propose to do the performance together. At first Nora was not so convinced, but ended up accepting and they showed their routine with the whole dance team that they formed and the presentation was very applauded and recognized as something different from the usual.

La verdad la película terminó siendo mejor de lo poco que recordaba, me gustó mucho la trama y todo el proceso que vivieron los protagonistas, además de la increíble Coreografía que crearon con movimientos clásicos y urbanos juntos. La Película deja como enseñanza, sobretodo, que los malos pasos y malas acciones pueden acarrear consecuencias graves, y por otro lado que a través de la disciplina e incluso gracias al Arte en sí, es posible cambiar el estilo de vida a alguien para bien, porque refuerza y enseña valores como la responsabilidad, la constancia y el compromiso, que en conjunto con el amor y pasión hacia el baile de Tyler, él pudo iniciar una nueva vida, mucho más sana y haciendo lo que le gusta…

The truth is that the movie ended up being better than what I remembered, I really liked the plot and the whole process that the protagonists went through, besides the incredible choreography that they created with classic and urban movements together. The movie teaches, above all, that bad steps and bad actions can have serious consequences, and on the other hand that through discipline and even thanks to Art itself, it is possible to change someone's lifestyle for the better, because it reinforces and teaches values such as responsibility, perseverance and commitment, which together with Tyler's love and passion for dancing, he was able to start a new life, much healthier and doing what he likes...
