Happy Friday beautiful community, today ended my series of posts in Liketu of my trip to **Galipán **with the Vizcaya Dance team. These photos are from the last tourist spot they took us to, the Old Cable Car Station El Lirón. This infrastructure was created during the period of Marco Perez Jimenez in 1956, the route went from the hotel Humbolt to the Litoral of Vargas state. It is a sub-station where the cabins changed trains to continue their journey, and it also served as a car park for them. It stopped providing service in 1977 due to damage to one of the guayas, it was reopened years later, but before the beginning of the 90's it stopped working definitively, and now it is only a historical tourist place in San Antonio of Galipán.
The place has a fairly light energy inside, although it keeps some mystery because it has entrances to underground tunnels, some cabins are still preserved and the deterioration and graffiti that has been done gives it a very filmy touch, hahaha. Some of us dared to climb up to a spectacular viewpoint, but if you are afraid of heights it might be difficult to reach. It is not my case, but of course I behaved with total respect, because it is dangerous because of the little protection that the corridors have, but the view is a total reward; the sea, the clouds, being able to see diversity in terms of vegetation plus the beginning of a sunset for me is inspiration and makes me thankful for the fortune of being able to witness so much beauty... Tell me what you thought of the place and these photos to interact a little, I send you a big hug and I wish you a nice weekend🤎🍃.

From up there there seems to be an excellent view
It's the first time I see a cable car so interesting for the tourism but it's definitely deserve it after being the latest one resisting with the passage of time! Love the mix between nature and sober landscape also! :)
