MENÚ EN 3$!! Candelita Grill, un lugar excelente para ir a comer [ESP-ENG]

Buenas buenaas!! Feliz viernes chicos, espero se encuentren todos bien... he estado algo desaparecida por acá, pero aquí estamos de nuevo! Hoy les hago esta recomendación de un sitio bueno, bonito y barato (si, con las tres B jaja) en Caracas por si un día tienen flojera de cocinar y quieren comer, este lugar lo vio mi mamá a través de Instagram, y la semana pasada nos llevó a comer allá, y la verdad es que quedamos bastante satisfechos.

Good morning! Happy Friday guys, I hope you're all well.... I've been a bit missing around here, but here we are again! Today I make you this recommendation of a good, nice and cheap place (yes, with the three B's haha) in Caracas in case one day you are lazy to cook and want to eat, this place my mom saw it through Instagram, and last week she took us to eat there, and the truth is that we were quite satisfied.

Lo interesante de este lugar y por lo que es bastante reconocido el restaurante es que su menú diario es de solo 3$ y cuentan con un amplio menú a 3 tiempos (entrada, principal y postre) además de tener otras opciones que no estén dentro de ese menú, pero aún así a buen precio. Esto me pareció fascinante, desde que vi el menú estuvo varios minutos pensando en que iba a pedir cuando entrásemos jaja, porque aparte tuvimos que hacer cola, esperar ya que todas las mesas estaban ocupadas y apenas era día martes, o sea imagínense jajaja.

The interesting thing about this place and what the restaurant is well known for is that its daily menu is only $3.00 and they have an extensive 3 course menu (starter, main and dessert) as well as having other options that are not on the menu, but still at a good price. I found this fascinating, since I saw the menu I spent several minutes thinking about what I was going to order when we entered haha, because besides we had to wait in line, because all the tables were occupied and it was only Tuesday, so imagine hahaha.

Estuvimos esperando un buen ratico afuera a que se desocuparan mesas, pero con todo y eso la atención fue buena, sirvieron tazas de café para todo el que quisiera en la fila mientras se esperaba, eso me pareció un buen detalle de parte de ellos y bueno, cuando pudimos pasar el lugar me pareció bastante bonito y acogedor, algo pequeño para la cantidad de gente que va para allá, pero bastante chévere el ambiente.

Lo primero que nos dieron estando en la mesa fue un juguito de parchita/maracuyá que estaba bastante rico y refrescante. Para la entrada, habían varias opciones de sopas, eso aquí en Venezuela es bastante común que como entrada tomes sopa o alguna crema de algo, yo opté por una crema de auyama, que uff, estaba bastante buena, y de principal un pollo con champiñones que se me antojó mucho (aunque de verdad quería comer de todo jajaja, porque en serio el menú es bastante interesante) con ensalada primavera y tajadas (plátano frito).

We were waiting outside for quite a while for tables to be vacated, but even so the service was good, they served cups of coffee for everyone in line while we were waiting, I thought that was a nice detail on their part and well, when we were able to go in the place seemed quite nice and cozy, a little small for the amount of people that go there, but quite cool the atmosphere.

The first thing they gave us at the table was a parchita/passion fruit juice that was quite tasty and refreshing. For the appetizer, there were several options of soups, here in Venezuela it is quite common to have soup or cream of something as an appetizer, I opted for a cream of pumpkin, which uff, was pretty good, and for the main course a chicken with mushrooms that I really wanted to eat everything hahaha, because seriously the menu is quite interesting) with spring salad and tajadas (fried plantain).

La verdad con todo quedé full, hice una buena elección, porque mi pollo con champiñones estaba riquísimo, pero aún faltaba el postre, que fue una taza de café con una galleta de chocolate (hay más opciones pero esa es la que incluía el menú) y por supuesto no me podía negar a ese momento dulce, para el postre siempre hay espacio jajjaa, pero ya luego si no podía más... pero para 3$ todo estuvo muy rico y quedamos más que satisfechos.

I made a good choice, because my chicken with mushrooms was delicious, but I still had to have dessert, which was a cup of coffee with a chocolate cookie (there are more options but that is the one included in the menu) and of course I could not refuse that sweet moment, for dessert there is always room hahahaa, but then if I could not go any further ... but for 3$ everything was very tasty and we were more than satisfied.
