Hellooo, I hope you’re doing great and having a wonderful week!! It’s hard to believe it’s already been a month since the earthquakes in Venezuela, and we’re still adjusting to a reality that will last quite a while yet. More than two weeks ago, I ventured out to areas outside of where I live for the first time, since—for the sake of my mental health—I wanted to avoid seeing damaged buildings or people affected by the disaster. However, it’s something that’s unavoidable, but at this point I have much more mental strength to deal with the situation and am handling everything better.
On the day I took those photos, I went with my dad to run some errands on a Saturday morning; we also took the opportunity to have breakfast and spend some time together. We were in the downtown area; it was quite empty compared to how it usually is. From the very first days of the tragedy, the issue of work was something that caused me a lot of anxiety, and well, everything in that area is still moving a bit slowly, but my perspective is that now, more than ever, we have to work—with more purpose and in a smarter way. It’s quite clear that the community itself is helping to support all those people who lost so much, and personally, the thoughts dominating my mind are about how I need to be more disciplined to make more money. First, for myself, to cover my expenses without so much stress, and second, to contribute whatever I can for as many months as necessary...
So, I keep going, looking every day for ways to keep my energy high so I can more easily attract the people and opportunities that will help me achieve those goals... Thank you so much for reading this far—sending you a hug🫂🤍.
