Facing Your Fears
It’s a natural thing to be afraid but you shouldn’t allow it takes over you and the only natural way conquer your fear is to face the thing or situation you fear and facing your fears is the key. Although, avoidance may make you feel better in the short-term, and it prevents you from learning that your fear may not be as tough or frightening as you think. And by avoidance you never get the chance to learn how to deal with your fears and experience control over the situation. As a result, your fear would becomes increasingly scarier and more intimidating in your mind.
Through repeated experiences facing your fear, you’ll then begin to realize that the worst isn’t going to happen. With each exposure you get from repeated practice experience you’ll feel more confident and in control. The fear will gradually begins to lose its power but you shouldn’t rush the process so it won’t overwhelm you. The more often you practice to facing it, the quicker your progress will be. And sometimes it’s not that easy to face it and you can even get more uncomfortable and anxious as you face it, but the feelings are only temporary. If you stick with your practice, the anxiety will definitely fade.

here are some tips to help you get over your fears
Take time out to distract yourself from that thing or situation that’s giving you fear by doing something else you love. This will help you clear your mind and forget about the situation.
Imagine the worst thing that could happen by thinking from a different angle, searching for other possible way out and this will help you put things into perspective .
Share your thoughts to someone you feel can make you happy this will help you calm your mind. Using myself for instance, the best person I share my thoughts with especially when am having anxiety or feeling skeptical about a situation is my Mom.
Eventually, face your fears because, If you need to get over them you need to face them and one of the biggest battlefields in the world is the mind of a man. And it’s either one conquers and the other lose and once you face them, they shrink and scatter and you win.
Face your fear because you’re stronger than you think. You will never fulfill your potential if you let fear control you. Fears hold one back to fulfilling goals. Ignore your fears and just do it!
