The Breadwinner..!!
Sometimes he gets scared. The fear of losing an unknown one. Mr Rob is a kind-hearted man. He lives with his family in one corner of the city. Only 7 members his wife, sons, a baby girl and his parents. He spent his childhood in the village. He didn’t grow up in a well to do family from an early age. His parents work hard to pay for his education.
His father was a farmer in a remote village. At that time there was no modern equipment for farming. So managing the farming process was more challenging. The year when there was heavy rain or drought the crop would not have been harvested. Mr Rob's father was the sole breadwinner in his family. They will have no income if there is no cultivation.
Despite multiple shortcomings, they continue their child’s schooling. His parents dreamed that their child would grow, up to be highly educated and to become a better soul. There was no electricity in the village then. His mother used to fan her son all night lest he suffered. Mr Rob has also continued his best efforts. He was known as a very talented student from his childhood. Even he didn’t have any bad company.
After completing higher secondary, he got admitted to a well-known university and moved to Dhaka. Even after coming here, he has continued to fulfil his responsibilities towards his parents. Besides studying here he got a part-time job. After working for several months, he saved a little amount of money and brought his parents here.
It has been almost 9 years since Mr Rob graduated. Allah has given him the grace to fulfil all his desires. Today he doesn’t have to depend on anyone for anything. Today he leads a lavish life with his parents, wife and children. His parents are old enough. No one lives forever and he is scared of losing his parents. But with this thought, he consoled himself he has been able to fulfil the wishes of his parents.
