Β Β Β This back and forth on @mers post titled Is It Really Wednesday Today?, reminds of why engagement is so important, and there's nothing greater than making friends in the comments section. I don't mean to imply that these Hivers don't know each other, but I wanted to highlight their dialogue as a perfect example of stellar engagement, so I am awarding them both a 5% beneficiary.

Β Β Β This ASEAN Hive is new to our community, but he certainly made a proper entrance. The comments sections of his post titled How To Trade On Hive Always Win, is full back-and-forth comments, and a perfect example of how Hivin' is done. Not all content creators in the ASEAN Hive Community become ASEAN Hive Stars π , but this guy has achieved his very quickly, because he's only engaged with his commenters, but other Hive content creators as well. The comments section is a bit long to share here, so I've chosen to share a link to his post instead.

Oh my, I am overwhelmed! Thank you so much chef Justine and family for this! I still remember five months ago when I joined this community for the first time, I asked you whether an asian like me who lives in Europe could join your community and you replied promptly.. "Yes of course...! " I came back on Hive after a long break and since then, the ASEAN-Hive Community has been supporting me in my Hive journey. Muchisimas gracias!
I do remember, and you said this to a white guy stranded in South America, so if I have any business in ASEAN Hive, you certainly do π. Of course I did live in Cambodia before our wedding/honeymoon abroad went terribly wrong. I think this community is all about the mindset, and that's what makes the ASEAN Hive Community special.
I also miss Southeast Asian attitudes, humor, family values, and much more, so this community is also a way for my family and I to socialize with like-minded people. I hope this community also provides you a similar experience. I also enjoy seeing Southeast Asian Hivers learning more about each other's countries and ways of life, especially food.
I agree, Asians have cultural affinity with each other... I just read a story of @aswita about the gatherings she had with her family, relatives and friends where they were eating food arranged on banana leaves ... it is similar to the tradition in the Philippines and I am glad to see such gatherings of other South Asians.
It warms my heart to see things like that, and it really makes me miss the lifestyle we had in Cambodia. This community keeps us connected though, and I give thanks for that.
