Wednesday walk by the beach.
This is my first post on #liketu, hopefully it’ll work ok:-)
Wednesday walk is a good excuse for me to share what I see when I go for a walk.
I don’t know why it happened so, that most of the times I go for a walk by myself. I used to walk with my friends, but it’s been a few months since any of them wanted to walk with some company. It’s ok, I know people sometimes want to distance. I enjoy walking by myself, it’s ok, that there’s no one to talk to. I get to take photos without being distracted.
I usually go for a walk if I spend a long day at home doing some work with kids, and doing some housework. It’s a great way of getting recharged by the ocean sounds. They are so calming, that I want one day try napping there.
I read recently that it is Man’o’war jellyfish season, and a few people got stung by them. This jellyfish is very toxic, so people are advised not to touch it. If it gets stuck to someone’s arm or leg, it’s better to scrape it off with a stick or something else but not hand. After that they recommend pouring vinegar on that spot.
On my walk I didn’t see any jellyfish, crabs or turtles. Not that I get to see them all the time, just was hoping with the purple flag, there would be something. Purple flag by the beach means that there is a marine activity in the ocean.

That’s interesting that the fly the purple flag to let people know of activity in the water
I have had friends who have been touched by manofwar jellyfish they can be so painful

Thank you @tattoodjay. Yes, every day there are flags on the beach to show the activity, and the ocean conditions. I like to go when it’s only green flag, it means no waves, and no jellyfish 🏖

That water is a stunning color :) I also enjoy walks by myself, especially near any body of water. I've been stung by jellyfish a few times, fortunately not the deadly variety.
