Learning to draw an interior in Procreate.
Today I was back to my interior course that I signed up for awhile ago. It gives me at least two positive things, get better at Procreate and learn to do 3D interiors. It’s still in the process, the details will tkr some time.
The process.
So first I drew a basic draft of the bedroom with bed, rug, side table. At the moment they look like simple boxes.
Next step was working on turning boxes into actual items: pillows, blankets etc. I also colored the wooden floor with light brown here.
In this step I tried my best working on wood texture. This kind of details take a lot of time, but it’s kind of satisfying work.
Next, I created a new layer and using selection tool made a shape for my rug. Then I filled it with gray color. Using selection tool and then filling it with color was something new that I learned during this class.
After that, I tried to show rug’s texture, and then drew a bed side table. I worked on the details just a little bit, because I decided to finish all the underpaint colors first, and next time to do all the details.
In the next two pictures I filled with color ceiling, wall, and drew a vase with a artificial plant in it.
Now, it’s time for the bed. I first colored the head side with dark green. Green color helps to calm down, so it’s good for the bedroom. Then I drew lines on a separate layer and applies them to the bed.
Here I colored the side of the bed with darker green, but I might change the tone later.
Now it’s tome for the blanket and pillows the most soft and satisfying parts:-) So I selected the blanket area and filled with light beige color. Then the same way a made pink pillows.
In the last picture you can see I drew green pillows. Hopefully soon I will share the detailing, that takes mor time than just drawing.
I hope you enjoyed the photos.
