Kids’ cards. The Philippines.

Hello friends,

Today’s theme is The Philippines. What do I know about it?

My first native speaker teacher was from there. It was my first experience of having someone who doesn’t speak my language. It was so much fun and at the same time it was challenging for me. When the teacher would give an assignment and we’d have to talk using our own words, not just memorizing half of text from the book. It meant that I really had to review vocabulary words for the lesson and then make a conversation by using them.

My father-in-law went to Cebu when he was a student. He really liked it there. He went with his dad.

My teacher is now my friend, she is like my second mom. I can email her whenever I want, and I know she will always email me back. I have very warm and nice memories of our lesions and English clubs. I wish all the students in the world could get teachers who really care about their students’ achievements.
