Colors of nature. Trees, flowers, and iguanas.
We love and try to go for a walk to different parks as often as we can. Usually every weekend if we don’t have any plans. It helps us reset our minds from the work and school. It’s great that kids also enjoy it, and don’t complain that it’s boring. I mean in the past when they were a little younger maybe the weren’t super excited about the idea, but now they got used to it. While I take photos and enjoy the nature, kids can play tag, or talk about something they’ve read at school.
These photos are from last fall. I found this shrub with white flowers and bees on them.
I don’t know if these berries or fruits are edible, but I’ve seen avocado and mango trees in people yards here.
Iguanas here can be pretty big. I like green colored iguanas the most. Brown iguanas are not that attractive. I wonder if their colors depend on the age or their gender. In winter time we often get warnings about hibernating iguanas falling from the trees. Usually if the temperature drops unexpectedly let’s say at night, and iguanas happened to sit on a tree, they fall in deep sleep, and aren’t able to hold on the branch. That’s when they start falling down.
This iguana is pretty well camouflaged in the bushes. Very often when we walk through the grass, we can hear the rustle of an escaping iguana.
I know, I lately have been posting only photos from our walks and stopped doing art. I guess there are some stages when I feel like doing art for a long time and then after getting tired I switch to the photography oriented posts. It’s probably better to get organized and do each of them every other time, but somehow I can’t make it perfectly organized.
I hope you enjoyed the photos.

Beautiful green views, the chameleon looks different from the existing species in my country Indonesia. It is bigger.
