Paint N°4 : What is essential is invisible to the eye [Eng-Esp]

Greetings, hivsarticos. In today's installment I want to share with you a piece made with paint (I hope later to be able to buy watercolor paints, as they are my goal). I simply wanted to create a piece and listening to music (Spotify on shuffle), I have let myself get creative.

Why on book leaves is because I own a lot of books (some complete and some unleafed) in deplorable states that have been damaged by humidity and even some rodents, but knowing their state I decided to keep them, recycle their leaves and make art with them, apart from the one they already are. Because each book is a portal to learning, adventure or love.

For this delivery N° 4 you will be able to appreciate a scene perhaps for many recognized, and is that I have been inspired by nothing less than The Little Prince, a short novel of French origin that has gone around the world. It has been translated into more than 250 languages, including Braille. Besides being one of the best selling books worldwide. For those who have not yet read it, I highly recommend it. Honestly, it made me cry, but also reflect, since the subgenres of this work are the philosophical novel and the children's novel, perhaps it was obvious that it touched my soul. Returning to the theme of the painting, we can see the little prince, the fox and the rose, the most memorable characters in this story. I think everything integrated very well and the tones of the colors helped me a lot, I hope you enjoy it.

Saludos, hivsarticos. En la entrega de hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una obra hecha con pintura (espero más adelante poder comprar las pinturas de acuarela, ya que son mi objetivo). Simplemente quise crear una pieza y escuchando música (Spotify en aleatorio), me he dejado llevar por la creatividad.

El porqué sobre hojas de libros es debido a que poseeo muchos libros (algunos completos y algunos deshojados) en estados lamentables que se han dañado por la humedad e incluso algunos roedores, pero sabiendo su estado decidí quedarmelos, reciclar sus hojas y hacer arte con ellos, aparte de la que ya son. Porque cada libro es un portal a la enseñanza, a la aventura o al amor.

Para esta entrega N° 4 podrán apreciar una escena tal vez para muchos reconocida,, y es que me he inspirado en nada menos que El Principito, una novela corta de origen francés que ha dado la vuelta al mundo. Contando traducciones a m{as de 250 idiomas, incluyendo el braille. Además de ser uno de los libros más vendidos a nivel mundial. Para quienes aún no lo han leído, lo recomiendo por completo. Sinceramente a mi me hizo llorar, pero también reflexionar, puesto que los subgéneros de esta obra son la novela filosófica y la novela infantil, tal vez era obvio que tocara mi alma. Volviendo al tema de la pintura, podemos observar a el principito, el zorro y la rosa, los personajes más memorables de esta historia. Creo que todo se integró muy bien y los tonos de los colores me ayudaron mucho, espero lo disfruten.

Materiales de elaboración - Materials for the elaboration

One step in front of the other - Un paso adelante del otro

We will begin by organizing all the materials we will use, in a quiet, comfortable and dry place to carry out our work without disturbance or distraction. There must also be good lighting to visualize the colors and strokes correctly.

Comenzaremos organizando todos los materiales que utilizaremos, en un lugar tranquilo, cómodo y seco para llevar a cabo nuestra obra sin molestias ni distracciones. También debe haber una buena iluminación para visualizar de forma correcta los colores y los trazos.

First I was in charge of drawing the two main characters in this painting, such as the little prince and the fox... I also added some stars and what would become the planet. Finally I also drew the beautiful rose. I do this in pencil because I like to have an idea of what I am going to do, maybe later I will have the ability to do it without drawing it.

Primero me encargué de dibujar los dos personajes principales en esta pintura, como lo son el principito y el zorro... También añadí algunas estrellas y lo que vendría siendo el planeta. De último dinujé también la hermosa rosa. Realizo esto a lapiz porque me gusta tener una idea de lo que voy a plasmar, tal vez más adelante tenga la habilidad de hacerlo sin necesidad de dibujarlo.

Second, I started applying the blue paint to simulate the sky or space. I mixed some black with blue to make it a little darker and also added some water to the mixture. I like it when they are a little diluted, I think it gives a little looseness to the final work.

Segundo, comencé a aplicar la pintura de color azul para simular el cielo o el espacio. Mezclé un poco de negro con azul para hacerlo un poco más oscuro y también añadí un poco de agua a la mezcla. Me gusta cuando son un poco diluidas, creo que le da un poco de soltura al trabajo final.

Third, I proceeded to paint the little prince. For his clothes I mixed blue with white to make it a little lighter, then I applied it. For the color of his scarf I mixed red with black and a little white and I already had a base of a mixture I had left over from another painting, so I also used it, I managed to get a shade of brown. For her hair I used yellow, but to make it look not so basic or flat and to give it more tonalities, I lightly applied the tone I used for the scarf, so it created some very beautiful shades of yellow that I really liked.

For the fox, I mixed red with yellow and a bit of black to create the orange tone I needed and used black for the tip of his tail and ears. At the end I went over the lines with the brush using black a little diluted in water to mark the silhouettes of both the little prince and the fox.

Tercero, procedí a pintar a el principito. Para su ropa mezclé azul con blanco para hacerlo un poco más claro, luego lo apliqué. Para el color de su bufanda mezclé rojo con negro y un poco de blanco y ya tenia una base de una mezcla que me había quedado de otra pintura, asi que también lo utilicé, logré obtener un tono de marron. Para su cabello utilicé amarillo, pero para que no se viera tan básico o plano y darle más tonalidades, apliqué ligeramente el tono que utilicé para la bufanda, así se crearon unos tonos de amarillo muy hermosos que me gustaron mucho.

Para el zorro, mezclé rojo con amarillo y un poco de negro para crearle el tono naranja que necesitaba y usé negro para la punta de su cola y de sus orejas. Al final repasé las líneas con el pincel usando negro un poco diluido en agua para marcar las siluetas, tanto del principito como del zorro.

Fourth, I began to apply a gray tone for the planet where the little prince lived, the asteroid B 612. For this I used black and white mixed to create the tone I wanted.

Cuarto, comencé a aplicar un tono gris para el planeta en el que vivía el principito, el asteroide B 612. Para esto utilicé blanco y negro mezclados para crear el tono que quería.

Fifth, I set about painting the rose. To achieve this I used red paint for the top. For the stem part, I mixed green with some black to darken it a bit. And finally with black in the brush and diluted a little in water, I highlighted the lines to give it a better finish.

Quinto, me dispuse a pintar la rosa. Para conseguirlo utilicé pintura roja para la parte superior. Para la parte del tallo, mezclé verde con algo de negro para oscurecerlo un poco. Y por último con negro en el pincel y diluido un poco en agua, remarqué las líneas para darle mejor acabado.

Sixth, I added a couple of craters to the planet with a slightly darker shade of gray by mixing in a little more black and those shades gave it a little more texture. I also applied yellow in the sky for some stars. I covered some details and that was it.

For the final result, everything is integrated as well as possible. The colors are intense. I passed the brush through a few places and glued the Artemisart logo with white liquid glue (the logo previously made on a circle of white paper with pencil and then with tempera reduced in water). That is for me as if I were signing my work. I liked the result in spite of being a little simple piece.

Sexto, añadí un par de crateres al planeta con un tono de gris un poco mas oscuro mezclando un poco más de negro y esas tonalidades le dio un poco más de textura. También apliqué el color amarillo en el cielo para algunas estrellas. Cubrí algunos detalles y eso fue todo.

Para el resultado final, todo se encuentra integrado lo mejor posible. Los colores son intensos. Pasé el pincel por uno que otro lugar y pegué el logo de Artemisart con pegamento liquido blanco (el logo previamente hecho en un círculo de hoja blanca con lapiz y luego con tempera rebajada en agua). Que es para mí como si estuviera firmando mi trabajo. Me gustó el resultado a pesar de ser una pieza un poco simple.
