Paint N°5 : The book girl [Eng-Esp]

Greetings, hivsartics. In today's installment I want to share with you a piece made with paint (I hope later to be able to buy watercolor paints, as they are my goal). I simply wanted to create a piece and listening to music (Spotify on shuffle), I have let myself get creative.
Why on book leaves is because I own a lot of books (some complete and some unleafed) in deplorable states that have been damaged by humidity and even some rodents, but knowing their state I decided to keep them, recycle their leaves and make art with them, apart from the one they already are. Because each book is a portal to learning, adventure or love.
For this delivery N° 5 I present you a female figure sunk in her thoughts with a book resting on her face and a few flowers around her, because she is not only comfortable in her world, but she is also blooming, reflecting and overcoming things that only she knows. I was fascinated by the result, I hope you are too.
Saludos, hivsarticos. En la entrega de hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una obra hecha con pintura (espero más adelante poder comprar las pinturas de acuarela, ya que son mi objetivo). Simplemente quise crear una pieza y escuchando música (Spotify en aleatorio), me he dejado llevar por la creatividad.
El porqué sobre hojas de libros es debido a que poseeo muchos libros (algunos completos y algunos deshojados) en estados lamentables que se han dañado por la humedad e incluso algunos roedores, pero sabiendo su estado decidí quedarmelos, reciclar sus hojas y hacer arte con ellos, aparte de la que ya son. Porque cada libro es un portal a la enseñanza, a la aventura o al amor.
Para esta entrega N° 5 les presentó una figura femenina hundida en sus pensamientos con un libro descansando en su rostro y unas cuantas flores a su alrededor, pues no solo está cómoda en su mundo, sino que también está floreciendo, reflexionando y superando cosas que solo ella conoce. Me fascinó el resultado, espero que a ustedes también.

We will begin by organizing all the materials we will use, in a quiet, comfortable and dry place to carry out our work without disturbance or distraction. There must also be good lighting to visualize the colors and strokes correctly.
Comenzaremos organizando todos los materiales que utilizaremos, en un lugar tranquilo, cómodo y seco para llevar a cabo nuestra obra sin molestias ni distracciones. También debe haber una buena iluminación para visualizar de forma correcta los colores y los trazos.
First I drew everything I wanted to paint. In this case I decided on a girl, relaxed with a t-shirt and loose hair. Her face would be covered by an open book resting on her. To the side as if they were emerging, I drew a few flowers blooming. All this I did in pencil. It's the first time I've drawn something this big, but the strokes and proportions came out very well, I'll keep practicing anyway.
Primero dibujé todo lo que quería pintar. En este caso me decidí por una chica, relajada con camiseta y cabello suelto. Su rostro estaría cubierto por un libro abierto descansando sobre ella. A un lado como si estuvieran surgiendo, dibujé unas cuantas flores floreciendo. Todo esto lo hice a lápiz. Es primera vez que dibujo algo tan grande, pero los trazos y las proporciones me salieron muy bien, de todos modos seguiré practicando.
Second. I wanted a purple color to apply to the shirt, but I didn't have it. So I mixed red paint with blue to create it. I also added a little white to get the color I wanted and then mixed with a little water. And then I used the brush to start painting.
Segundo. Quería un color morado para aplicarlo en la camiseta, pero no lo tenía. Así que mezclé pintura roja con azul para crearlo. También añadí un poco de blanco para obtener el color que quería y luego mezclé con un poco de agua. Y entonces fue que usé el pincel para comenzar a pintar.
Third. I decided to continue with the hair. I wanted a peculiar color, making it understood that this girl is also very peculiar and wonderful. A turquoise seemed like the right choice. To achieve it, since I didn't have that color, I mixed blue with green and added white paint to lighten it a little. When I got the tone I wanted, I mixed it with a little water and applied it on my canvas. In this case, on the hair of the girl I was painting.
Tercero. Decidí continuar con el cabello. Quería un color peculiar, haciendo entender que esta chica también es muy peculiar y maravillosa. Un turquesa me pareció la elección correcta. Para lograrlo, ya que no tenía ese color, mezclé azul con verde y fui añadiendo pintura blanca para aclararlo un poco. Cuando obtuve el tono que quería, lomezclé con unpoco de agua y apliqué en mi lienzo. En este caso, en el cabello de la chica que estaba pintando.
Fourth. I continued with the book and the color I wanted to apply was brown, but again I didn't have it among my materials, so I proceeded to create it. I mixed the colors red, blue and a little yellow. I added a little water and that was it. I applied it over the area I needed.
Cuarto. Continué con el libro y el color que quería aplicar era el marrón, pero nuevamente no lo tenía entre mis materiales, así que procedí a crearlo. Mezclé los colores rojo, azul y un poco de amarillo. Añadí un poco de agua y listo. Lo apliqué sobre el área que necesitaba.
Fifth. While waiting for the above to dry out a bit. I continued with the drawn flower stems. For this I used the green paint that I had available, however I mixed it with a little black to give it a little more darkness and resistance to the color as such. For the leaves I gave a lighter tone, in this case the original shade of green.
Quinto. Mientras esperaba que lo anterior se secara un poco. Continué con los tallos de las flores dibujadas. Para esto utilicé la pintura verde que si tenía disponible, sin embargo la mexclé con un poco de negro para darle un poco más de oscuridad y resistencia al color como tal. Para las hojas si le di un tono más claro, en este caso el tono original del verde.
Sixth. I really don't know much about flowers. I mean, I can remember their shape, but I wasn't quite sure what specific colors each one should be. So I had to look on the internet for the appropriate colors to apply color to them. After that learning pause, I decided on a color somewhere between red and pink. I got the pink by mixing a little red with white. And I applied it to the beautiful flower. Also with a little black paint a little diluted I marked the edges, to give it a more defined impression.
Sexto. Realmente no sé mucho de flores. Es decir, puedo recordar su forma, pero no estaba muy segura de los colores específicos que debe tener cada una. Por lo que tuve que buscar en internet los colores acordes para aplicarles color. Luego de esa pausa de aprendizaje, me decidí por un color entre rojo y rosa. El rosa lo logré obtener mezclando un poco de rojo con blanco. Y lo apliqué a la hermosa flor. También con un poco de pintura negra un tanto diluida marqué los bordes, para darle una impresión más definida.
Seventh. I advanced by adding color to the other two flowers. One simply wore white, as it was a daisy. But for the other one I made a mix between yellow and a little brown that I had left over from the previous mix. I also defined the edges with a little black diluted in water and it gave a great touch.
Séptimo. Avancé añadiendo color a las otras dos flores. Una simplemente iba de blanco, ya que era margarita. Pero para la otra si realicé una mezcla entre amarillo y un poco de marrón que me había sobrado de la mezcla anterior. Definí los bordes también con un poco de negro diluido en agua y le dio un toque estupendo.
Eighth. Finally, I remarked the silhouettes, some shadows and some colors in each of the pieces. I also applied a bit of white color on the brown skin tone that I had captured to lighten it a little more and thus achieve the ideal tone, the one I wanted.
For the final result, everything is integrated as well as possible. The colors are intense. I passed the brush through a few places and glued the Artemisart logo with white liquid glue (the logo previously made on a circle of white paper with pencil and then with tempera reduced in water). That is for me as if I were signing my work. I liked the result in spite of being a little simple piece.

Octavo. Para finalizar remarqué las siluetas, algunas sombras y algunos colores en cada una de las piezas. Además apliqué un poco de color blanco en el tono de piel morena que había plasmado para aclararlo un poco más y así conseguir el tono ideal, el que yo quería.
Para el resultado final, todo se encuentra integrado lo mejor posible. Los colores son intensos. Pasé el pincel por uno que otro lugar y pegué el logo de Artemisart con pegamento liquido blanco (el logo previamente hecho en un círculo de hoja blanca con lapiz y luego con tempera rebajada en agua). Que es para mí como si estuviera firmando mi trabajo. Me gustó el resultado a pesar de ser una pieza un poco simple.
