Splinterlands feedback form - (How) Is it working?
I do this post as I want people to be aware how they could influence the Splinterlands evolution and I hope some great new ideas will be shared.
The Splinterlands team is trying to create a compelling product, so they implemented a feedback form, so users can submit suggestions and support or oppose submitted suggestions.
In this post I will go through how the site works, and will highlight a few in progress activities.
Topics:
- Site layout
- Adding new suggestions
- Filter options
- Interesting in progress suggestions
- Interesting in suggestions, which I voted for
Site Layout
You can find the form here:
https://feedback.splinterlands.com/
The site is mobile friendly and easy to use. Looks something like this.
- Yellow arrow : Sign in (At sign in please be aware that the actual form is outsourced to nolt.io, so you will receive an e-mail from them)
- Red arrow : Click to create a suggestion
- Green arrow : Filter suggestions and their order
- Blue arrow : Look for suggestions with specific words in it
Add New Suggestions
Let's make a suggestion!
- Click on the make button
A window will popup in where you can add your suggestion (see picture below):
- Red Arrow : Title of your suggestion - When you start typing a title the window next to the green arrow appears
- Green arrow : List of suggestions with a similar title
- Blue arrow : Describe your suggestion
- Yellow bracket : Add Attachment and Create Post buttons
Tips:
- Always look through the suggestions, which the search field finds. If the change you want is already there, then support it. More upvotes mean more chance that it will be taken into consideration
- In the details be factual : clarify what you wish and explain the advantages coming with this change.
- Try to create awareness of your suggestion in the community.
Filter options
- Click on Trending to see the filtering options.
- On the left side you can sort them recent activity (Trending), Most voted and time submitted (Newest)
- On the right side you can filter them according to their current Progress
Interesting in suggestions, which I voted for
Here are a few interesting topics the team is working on currently:
All Market History
https://feedback.splinterlands.com/127
- Make all market history available, it just most recent transactions
- Status in progress. First big implementation was, that the 2021 balance history is available for download
Implement +5% ranked DEC bonus for Beta cards
https://feedback.splinterlands.com/305
- Beta cards should get a +5% DEC bonus in ranked
Interesting suggestion I voted for
Allow players to edit not only the league cap of challenges but also the following:
- Mana Cap
- Rulesets
- Playable Splinters
In order to see capture rate and card bonus stats you have to hover over this tiny button on the results screen.
It would be better to at least have the option to choose the league then the cards would appear.
For example “Bronze” then all max card bronze levels would automatically show out.
Short ad for players who would like to start playing
