Unfortunately his contest ended (as he wrote it can end any time) before I could sit down and do my research, but as I was already half way done with the preparations I decided to write the post anyway, lets look into it.
Congrats to @btcsam who submitted a great blogpost on the matter and deserved the reward.

So lets get into it. So what card are we talking about. Let's check out the stat.

This card is only available on it's max power level with 2 melee attack, 2 speed and 2 health, powerful for a dhicken, but there is more. It can fly, trample as only a dricken can, rage as he learned about the existence of Kentucky Fried Chickens and it feast on corpses.
The whole package can be used for ONLY 1 MANA! I would call this a bargain!

Well we know how what this beast is capable of, now lets talk about the price.

Added Value:

This one card has 551,250 CP. It was rented out for 3 digit dollar values as this one card is enough to skyrocket you in the Champion league (if you got the skill as well).

So lets get some indicators

So how much should this card be worth?

As we can see the market is willing to pay a lot for collector high quality cards. The Yu Gi Oh and Pokemon cards were appraised for their quality and have less then 100 parts available for a game, which is played by millions of people with a huge fanbase, animes and movies. This games are famous, which provides to them value as well.
The Splinterlands team expressed their wish to go this way as well, while creating a fun and more complex game.

And the fanbase of Splinterlands is very strong and wealthy as well. Last year we broke a new record for a card sale:

Level 4 Gold Foil Prince Julian. Sold for $50.000!

There are only 7 cards of this bad mama's little boy in circulation and should be a good price tag for the Mighty Dricken as well.

At this moment I would appraise the Mighty Dricken's price for 75.000$ USD, due to the decline of the crypto market in the last days, but I would move it up to 100.000$ if the market starts to boom again. Though if Splinterlands will be a brand, like MtG, YuGiOh or Pokemon, then it's price may rise a few times as this card could become the first of it's kind in the NFT card game space!
