Can you win against bots? My road to the Silver league.

Back story. I have a normal and an alt account in Splinterlands. 2 seasons ago I got cancelled most of my rented CP on the last days of the season and I have decided to try to if with a minimal investment of $20 you can still get on in this game. $10 for spellbook + $10 to get 1000 Collection power and get be able to earn DEC in Bronze 2.

What happened this season

My mood got better in the last days, when I started to win a few games.

I took my own advice and as I had some hard time to play against Lorna Shine I tried to find the best way to utilize this card. The cards I rented did not cost even a DEC and gave also some Alpha 10% bonus to my DEC winnings.
There are still starter packs which can defeat me, but I had a lot of more wins and fun.

The best time to rent cards and get forward is always the beginning of the season, as the DEC rewards are higher. It was also my wish to get more daily chests. So as soon as I got my rank up to Silver I rented a few cards for CP to move 1 level up. The rent is currently very cheap, I rented 10000 CP for 21 DEC (I was able to save the DEC from the previous season):

I have a few cards delegated to this account which can be rented out for a few more DEC.

My earnings at the beginning of the season are covering these expenses in Silver league well:

I earn currently around 30 DEC/day and receive 2 chests from daily quests. I don't believe I would earn enough in S2 at the moment, so I will try to stay in Silver 3 till the end of this season and earn 12 chests. I expect my rental to be cancelled at the end of the season, so I hope I will have enough DEC to rent up to S3 again.

I'm now happily sitting in Silver 3 with rank almost Silver 1.
