Write it down
Yes, write it down. Oh sorry if that sounded like a command 😃. How about "Kindly write it down". Okaayyy, let's get to the point. The power of writing your goals or plans down.
I have experimented on this and I assure you that it works.
Most of the days I plan my day by writing them down on a paper or on my phone, I observe that if not all but most of them were done at the end of the day. Days I don't, I end up forgeting one thing or the other or feel lazy to do it, but whenever I have it written down on a to do list, there is this kinda should I say pressure? Nah, pressure is not the right word. Got it! There is kinda zeal to want to fulfil or have everything on the to do list checked.
The same thing goes for for accomplishing your goals or dreams. This has really helped me alot as a makeup artist. I started out in makeup artistry with few items. I didn't even have ring light nor the chair, ring light and chair are even on the high side, I didn't have some makeup products that are necessary. I know I really needed them, so I wrote them down on my phone as memo. I look at it now and then. So immediately I have some money, I go straight to my memo, pick out what the money at hand could buy at the moment and gradually, I was ticking my makeup items gotten. Before I could realise it, I have acquired 90% of what I needed. You see how writing things down has helped me in achieving my plans. Lets pop a bottle to that.
Another thing again about writing it down is;
Write out what you want not what you do not want. For example, you want to lose weight and you want write down how to achieve the weight loss thing. Your dietician says, watch what you eat and stay away from junks. Now to you, wanting to try out the write it down technique to help remind you always of your diet. You can write " I eat healthy" instead of "I don't want to eat junks" So whenever you want to check out your plans or goals You have written down, You will reflect on the positive words of things you want for yourself.
So you can better execute your daily activities by writing out your plans on a to do list. You can try it out to see what happens
In summary, writing your plans down will serve as a guide and a reminder on what to do.
