PUTTING ON A SEPTUM - PONIENDOME UN SEPTUM | Story Time [ENG-ESP]

Everything ok? I hope so. In this opportunity I come to share my experience getting a piercing. This piercing I got is called "SEPTUM" and it is a small ring that goes in my nose.

¿Todo bien? Espero que si. En esta oportunidad vengo a compartir mi experiencia haciéndome una perforación. Este piercing que me puse se llama "SEPTUM" y es un arito que va en la nariz.
I decided to get it done at a place called "calibre 14". A place where they do tattoos, piercings of all kinds and is one of the most established and oldest in my town.
Decidí hacérmelo en un local llamado "calibre 14". Un lugar donde hacen tatuajes, ponen piercings de todo tipo y es uno de los más consolidados y antiguos de mi localidad.
I went to this place because of many common recommendations and my personal opinion is that it is quite good. Not only because it is a place with a good vibe and interesting decor. But also because of the sanitation standards, which I think is very important when working with needles.
Fui a este lugar por muchas recomendaciones en común y mi opinión personal es que está bastante bien. No sólo porque es un lugar con buena vibra y decoración interesante. Sino porque están presentes las normas de salubridad, lo cual me parece de suma importancia donde se trabaje con agujas.
I saw that they had on display for sale different types of piercings. For parts of the body that I really doubt I will ever pierce. Navel, tongue, smile, smile, industrial, lip, nose, septum, eyebrow, etc etc etc. The variety is wide according to the client's preferences. I was well entertained with all the merchandise.
Vi que tenían en exhibición para la venta diferentes tipos de piercing. Para partes del cuerpo que realmente dudo que perfore alguna vez. Ombligo, lengua, smile, industrial, labio, nariz, septum, ceja, etc etc etc. La variedad es amplia de acuerdo a las preferencias del cliente. Yo estaba bien entretenida con toda la mercancía.
Regarding the place where you work with the clients the chairs were quite comfortable. But when it was time to sit there I was quite nervous.
Con respecto al lugar donde se trabaja con los clientes las sillas estaban bastante cómodas. Pero cuando llegó el momento de sentarme allí estaba bastante nerviosa.
It turns out they use topical anesthesia, 5% pharmacaine, so I felt almost nothing during the drilling. I was terrified of a butchery and bloodthirsty experience but it was not at all what I feared.
Resulta que usan anestesia tópica, farmacaina al 5%, por lo cual no sentí casi nada durante la perforación. Sentía terror de una experiencia carnicera y sanguinaria pero no fue para nada lo que temía.
In the mirror I could see the result immediately. I loved it. I'm not much given to self-appraisal, but in this case I can say with certainty that I felt beautiful. I absolutely loved the result and was prepared to wipe my butt with negative comments, which obviously were not long in coming.
En el espejo pude ver el resultado inmediatamente. Me encanto. No soy muy dada a la auto apreciación, pero en este caso puedo decir con certeza que me sentí bonita. I would say that the one that surprised me the most was my grandmother's "you look very pretty", she was the first one not to demonize me and to be objective without letting herself be carried away by prejudices.
Diría que el que mas me sorprendió fue el de mi abuelita "te ves muy bonita", fue la primera en no satanizarme y ser objetiva sin dejarse llevar por prejuicios ¿Quien lo diría?
My friends and acquaintances are another story, several asked me for the address of the place because they liked the result. But I really did it because it was something I wanted to do, and my advice is that if you want to do something for yourself, and the body is yours, go for it without fear. The piercings come out, the hair grows and the happiness stays.
Mis amistades y conocidos son otra historia, varios me pidieron la dirección del local porque les gustó el resultado. Pero realmente lo hice porque era algo que ansiaba hacer, y mi consejo es que si quieres hacer algo para ti, y el body es tuyo, dale guaya sin miedo. Los piercing se quitan, el cabello crece y la felicidad queda.
