A pleasure to greet all the hivers who love nature and its amazing designs. In this opportunity I want to refer to an exotic flower, not only for its size but for the brevity of its life. It is the lady of the night flower. This specimen that I show you is from a friend that I consider as a daughter. She knows that I like plants and more now that I can share them with others through this hive platform. She told me: "mother I want you to use these photos for one of your articles". For this reason I share these photos that she gave me.

Un gusto saludar a todos los hivers que aman la naturaleza y sus asombrosos diseños. En esta oportunidad quiero referirme a una flor exótica, no solo por su tamaño sino por la brevedad se su vida. Es la flor dama de noche. Este ejemplar que les muestro es de una amiguita que considero como una hija. Ella sabe que me gustan las plantas y más ahora que las puedo compartir con otros a través de esta plataforma de hive. Me dijo: " madre quiero que uses estas fotos para uno de tus artículos". Por este motivo comparto estas fotos que ella me regaló.

Although this plant is from tropical climates, in the town where my friend lives it has a very cool environment, since it is a mountainous area. She and her mother planted this plant from a small piece of the trunk that was given to her and they have had it for some time now. The peculiar thing about it is that its flowers can only be seen once a year and it only opens its buds completely at 12:00 pm, so it is quite a challenge to photograph its flowers. That night she told me that they were trying to distract themselves as a family with the purpose of waiting for the flowers to open and be able to enjoy them. Imagine that all year long it is a simple green plant and of course when it is time to bloom nobody wants to miss this event.

Aunque está planta es de climas tropicales, en el pueblo donde vive mi amiga es de ambiente muy fresco, pues es zona de montaña. Ella y su mamá sembraron esta planta de un trocito del tronco que le regalaron y la tienen ya desde hace un tiempo. Lo peculiar de ella es que sus flores se pueden ver una vez al año y solo abre sus capullos completamente a las 12:00 pm, así que es todo un reto fotografíar sus flores. Esa noche me dijo que estuvieron tratando de distraerse en familia con el propósito de que llegara la hora de que abrieran las flores y poder disfrutarlas. Imagínense que todo el año sea una simple planta de color verde y claro en su momento de florecer nadie se quiere perder este acontecimiento.

As it takes several days for the flower to open, they were at home, and my friend warned me when it was imminent that the flower would open completely. But you have to run, hahaha, because it manages to last open only for a few minutes. Then it closes again and the flower dies, and doesn't open again. So it was a moment of expectation for this event, even my friend got ready with her cell phone for the camera and at the same time put on some makeup to be able to take a picture with this beautiful specimen. Spectacular flowers that she sent me in these photos, and she told me: "the scent of this flower is unique, a delight that perfumes the whole environment", "I wish you were here". Of course I was very pleased that he explained me the environment and what they lived while waiting for the flowers to open.

Como la flor tarda varios días para abrir, ellos en casa pendientes, y mi amiga me aviso del momento en que ya era inminente que la flor se abriría por completo. Pero hay que correr, jajaja, pues logra durar abierta solo por unos cuantos minutos. Luego vuelve a cerrarse, muere la flor, y no se abre más. Así que fue un momento de expectativas por este evento, hasta mi amiga se preparó con su celular por la cámara y a la vez se puso algo de maquillaje para poder fotografiarse con este hermoso ejemplar. Espectaculares las flores que me envió en estás fotos, y me dijo: " el aroma de esta flor, es único, una delicia que perfuma todo el ambiente", "ojalá estuvieras aquí". Por su puesto que me fue de agrado que me explicará el entorno y lo que vivieron en espera de que las flores se abrieran.

Some time ago I was able to see this flower up close. And it is an extraordinary specimen of nature that has been designed by our creator God. Not only can you enjoy waiting anxiously for its flowers to open, but this event unites the families that have this plant. At the end of the event we hear the personal comments of each one about the admiration for its beauty and the sweetness of its aroma, this makes us thank God for being able to see this lady of a night and enjoy them. Not everyone can have such a type of plant, because it is not a very easy plant to stick. But this family had the joy of having her and sharing her moments and photos with me since we are more than friends as family.

Yo hace algún tiempo atrás pude ver de cerca esta flor. Y es un extraordinario ejemplar de la naturaleza que ha Sido diseñada por nuestro creador Dios. No solo se puede disfrutar de esperar con anhelo que sus flores se abran, sino que este evento une a las familias que tienen está planta. Al final se escuchan los comentarios personales de cada uno sobre la admiración por su belleza, y por la dulzura de su aroma, esto hace que se agradezca a Dios por poder ver a esta dama de una noche y disfrutar de ellas. No todo el mundo puede tener un tipo de planta así, porque no es una planta muy fácil de pegar. Pero esta familia tuvo la dicha de tenerla y compartir sus momentos y fotos conmigo ya que somos más que amigos como familia.
