1. Price

These graphs show the evolution of prices in USD for HIVE and HBD.

2. Supply

This graph shows the evolution of HIVE virtual Supply. The virtual supply is the sum of HIVE supply (liquid and staked HIVE) and HBD supply (converted into HIVE).
The graph also displays the debt ratio (HBD supply / HIVE virtual supply). Keep in mind that since hardfork 24 funds in the treasury (@hive.fund HBD balance) don't count towards the HBD debt ratio.

These graphs show the evolution of the HIVE Supply (both liquid and staked) and the HBD supply.

These charts show the evolution of the liquid HIVE and the staked HIVE (Hive Power).

This graph shows the overall Hive tokens distribution.

3. HBD Savings

This graph shows how much and how many accounts store HBD in savings. The table below shows the topmost HBD deposits and withdrawals of the day.

This graph shows the number of HIVE, both liquid and in savings, held by all accounts.

This graph shows the number of HBD, both liquid and in savings, held by all accounts.

5. Conversions

Note: As a reminder, conversion requests are only finalized after 3 days. It is only then that it is known exactly how many HIVE were burned in return for the HBD received at the time of the conversion request.

This graph shows the number of HIVE collateralized due to requests to convert HIVE to HBD over the past few days.

These graphs show the number of HIVE effectively used by the conversion process (HIVE converted and 5% HIVE fee which is burned) each day and month when requests to convert HIVE to HBD have been finalized.

These graphs show the number of HBD burned, each day and each month, following requests to convert HBD to HIVE.

People are powering down more than the people who are powering up.

If you look at the global scale, we are slowly getting to an equilibrium

I also powered up and I am glad that I am doing that everyday now with my little earnings.

Great stats and I observed that HBD Savings keeps on increasing for that sweet 20% APR, even if HIVE is well bellow the $1 mark. I guess people prefer a full passive and steady revenue instead of betting on the appreciation of HIVE in the incoming bull market as I did. Let's see how things unfold and who hits the jackpot on this. 😀

It's indeed interesting to see how users choose different strategies based on their preferences and risk tolerance. It will indeed be fascinating to see who benefits the most from their chosen approach. Good luck with your own strategy!

Cool summary. I had not checked it out in quite awhile. I got tagged due to powerdown. My powerdown is all about Splinterlands Land purchase FOMO 😅 gotta get me some. My powerdown is overstated. Due to the 13 week powerdown process, I put all my hive in powerdown mode so I can get the most each week. Then after a couple of weeks I will cancel powerdown. So to pull out 500 in 4 weeks time, I put 1650 in powerdown. I expect this inflates the powerdown summary stats on a continuing basis.

Thank you for your feedback @steven-patrick. Everyone is free to do what they want with their assets, including powering down. Splinterlands Land purchase looks like a very valid reason to me 😉

Very good information, perhaps you can do a post highlighting exchanges/ DEX’s that are user friendly for US Hive users @arcange. The US seems to be on a witch hunt to stop/ kill Crypto

We should first define and agree on "user friendly for US Hive users" 😆

Great report, I see myself there 👁️🤭
I have full confidence in Hive's savings system, it has allowed me to save successfully. Thanks to my savings I was able to buy a new cell phone! I will continue to rely on it for my next deposits. 🤩
