Exploring Idra Patra Fort - part 2

I really really miss the beauty of Indra Patra Fort which I visited yesterday, but yesterday I couldn't explore the second fort because it was too late, and today I have the opportunity to go to Indra Patra Fort again.

This is the second Indra Patra Fort which is slightly smaller in size. According to the rare explanation on this board, this fort was used to contain and fight enemies entering from the Malacca Strait.

And it seems that this fort was made higher than the previous fort because this second fort was used specifically for war. After climbing to the top, I now see that the area inside the fort is paved with sand and has three shelters inside made of stone with very thick walls. .

This is a shelter as well as a place to store weapons, on each side of the fort there are also cavities like windows, from the shape of the windows I am sure this is a place where cannons are placed to shoot at the enemy from outside.

And these windows directly face the sea coast of the Malacca Strait. Behind this fort, you are immediately greeted with a very beautiful view of the mountains, being here is really like being in the Machu Picchu Area.

In front of the fort, you are immediately greeted with views of the beach and sea of the Malacca Strait. The area in front of Indra Patra Fort also has a very beautiful view with beautiful green trees.

From here we can immediately see the vast sea of the Strait of Malacca where colonial warships entered the Indonesian mainland in the past, but they always failed to enter through Aceh because of the tough Acehnese troops guarding the Indra Patra Fort.

Under the shady trees, this is also a place for local fishing boats to anchor. This is a historic area that is very well maintained because the location of Indra Patra Fort is one of the most historic places in Indonesia.

The view of the courtyard around the fort looks very beautiful with very well maintained green grass. The fort, mountains and sea unite to protect Aceh's sovereignty from invaders in the past.

For friends who are curious about the beauty of this fort, its location is on Jalan Krueng Raya, Baet, Baitussalam District, Aceh Besar Regency, Aceh Indonesia.

Today was truly a very spectacular trip for me because I had the opportunity to explore the entire Indra Patra Fort Area, see you in the next travel post.
