I Just Made a Zip Nora Sandal Gift for a Friend

Hello Hivers. Today, I decided to present my new month's gift for the month of October 2022 as usual to a selected friend. Every month, I always show concern to people whom I value in life by giving them a gift from my shoemaking and other skills I do as a business. I do this in order to maintain the mutual relationship because in life people around do are also sources of your income, success, happiness, and in fact your downfall but nobody is praying to have a close friend that may bring you down in life. Always remember to walk with people that have the same goal and vision as you.

Good friends are hard to get but we all have to understand each other in life. Without wasting much of your time, I will like to fine-tune you a little while I chose this friend of mine to gift him a sandal I made. To be honest with you, I never understood in life that there is still a good friend not until I met one called Daniel.

How I started with Daniel was when we met each other years ago as kids attending the same primary school. Then my family had nothing and even wearing cloth was a problem since it was already difficult for us to feed ourselves. Whenever we are dismissed from school, Daniel we ask me to follow him to his house so that both of us can eat the launch kept for him. This is how I and Daniel continued as he understood my poor background back then. Most of the dresses and footwear I used to wear are always Daniel's own since my family couldn’t afford one.

One day, Daniel’s parents called us together and told their son Daniel in my present that he should avoid me as a friend because I will not be useful to him in the future but to my greatest surprise, Daniel told his parents that he will not avoid me and besides no one could give an account of what will happen in the future.

As Daniel refused to avoid me because his parents threatened not to pay his fee again, our friendship became stronger as he keeps encouraging me that our future will be bright together and no one can separate us. This was how I and Daniel continued until things keep changing for good besides do you know that no condition is permanent in life?

When I remembered the love and I Daniel shared back then in primary school, I told myself that I will be making a zip sandal gift surprise for him.

I will be telling you the materials adopted:

Nora leather.

The sole leather I designed was used.

Buckle.

Zip.

Gum.

Thread.

Tools used also have to be pointed out:

Sewing machine and needle.

Scissors.

Hammer.

Filing machine/sandpaper.

Ruler.

Cutter.

Brush.

We now have to look into the procedures followed:

The provision of the whole materials from the market.

I have to take comprehensive measurements of the sole and top design leather using a ruler.

I have to make a sketch of the sole and the top leather design.

I have to cut the leather for the sole into pieces and then arrange them in order.

I have cut into pieces the top leather design sketched.

I have to use a sewing machine to sew the complete design for the top Nora zip sandal including sewing in the zip to the top leather.

I have to fix the top leather design to the sole and then use a filing machine/sandpaper to scrap the sole for it to accept gum.

I have to use a brush to apply gum to the sole and the top leather and then place them under the sun for proper drying.

I have to fix the complete sandals including the buckle.
