DIY First Female Leather Slipper Made for a Customer after a Challenge was Placed
Today, a female customer came to my shoemaking office to get some shoes I made for her husband but she decided to put me on to test after she collected the husband's shoes from my shoemaking office. How it all started was that she raised an argument that I’m only good at making male leather footwear and having no knowledge about how to make female leather slippers too.

When the female customer continued with her argument about me not having the knowledge to make female leather footwear, I was astonished if this same customer could not see some crocheted female footwear I hang in my shoemaking office but the main argument triggered that even if I could crochet all kinds of female footwears that it has nothing to do with the leather work.

After I was able to calm the female customer’s argument down, she put me to the test in front of the husband and some other family members that came together with her to my shoemaking office that if I believe that I can make female leather footwear that I should make one for her but she will be the one to chose the female leather work that I will be making for her.

When the female customer was busy placing the type of female leather slipper she selected from the internet which I will make for her, my shoemaking team was just busy smiling and laughing at the female customer knowing full well the level of my technicality in making foot wears whether through the use of yarn or leather.

The funniest part of the whole challenge from the female customer was that she bet me that if I make the leather female slipper she selected from the internet that she will dash me some cash. To be honest, hearing the amount the female customer promised to give me if I give her exactly what she want from the leather slipper she demanded, I didn’t hesitate to start making the leather work with immediate effect.

When I wanted to start making the leather slipper for the female customer, I told her to go and come back this evening so that I would have finished making the complete leather slipper but she refused. The female customer told me that if she leave my shoemaking office, I may give the work to another shoemaker and then pretend that I’m the one that made it.

This was how the female customer waited for me to finish the leather slipper for her even when her husband and others left her. Surprisingly, I met the whole rules that the female customer gave me in making the leather slipper for her, and in the end, she congratulated me and my team for a job well done. She later gave me all the promises she made.

Materials that were considered in making the leather slipper are as follows:
Foreign leather.
Female slipper sole.
Gum.
Thread.

Tools used are also considered:
Sewing machine.
Needle.
Scissors.
Sandpaper machine.
Cutter.
Hammer.

Let me touch on some of the processes in making the leather slipper:
Understanding the leather slipper size as measurement was made.
A proper sketch of the leather slipper design was done.
A proper cutting of the top leather slipper design was made using a scissors and cutter.
The sewing of top leather design from the back side was made using a sewing machine.
After the sewing of the top leather design, I have to fold the top leather according to my design by making sure that the thread used is hidden and not seen by the public in order to give it a foreign quality standard.

I have to sandpaper the whole work and apply gum on them and after, I placed them under the sun for drying.
I have to join the complete leather slipper together and use a hammer to tag for proper joining.

A very classic sandal and gorgeous looking leather. The customer sounds like a bitch though and I would have not made her anything, instead I would have made a pair for her friend or sister 😝
You are correct friend but sometimes, we just have to ignore some customers' bad attitudes.
