My walk to the old quarry through the rapeseed field

It was a small walk, a walk on the break of the weather, when the heat began to leave our places, and the North began to blow its cold.

When I started my walk along the bypass dirt road, the sun was shining in my back. It was a morning, a beautiful sunny morning and it seemed that the day would be just as sunny and warm. I went out of the house, climbed the mountain and enjoyed this beautiful autumn day. The road went through the forest, but when I came out into the open, I saw something in the sky. My first thought was that it was a fog rising into the sky.

Когда я начал свою прогулку по объездной грунтовой дороги, то в спину мне светило солнце. Это было утро, прекрасное солнечное утро и казалось, что день будет такой же солнечный и теплый. Я вышел из дома, поднялся в гору и радовался этому прекрасному осеннему дню. Дорога шла через лес, а вот когда я вышел на открытую местность, то увидел нечто на небе. Моей первой мыслью было, что это туман поднимается в небо.

But after a while I realized that it wasn't fog. These are solid clouds coming in our direction. That's such a sadness.

Но через некоторое время я понял, что это не туман. Это идут в нашу сторону сплошные облака. Вот такая печаль.

After passing a small copse after a plowed field, I saw that the field where rye grew had recently been mowed down. I previously showed this field when rye was still growing on it.
And my attention was attracted by a poplar tree. It was against the background of the coming clouds, but it was still illuminated by the morning Sun. And somehow I really liked this view.

Пройдя небольшой перелесок после вспаханного поля, я увидел, что поле, на котором росла рожь недавно скосили. Я показывал это поле, когда на нём еще росла рожь.
А моё внимание привлек тополь. Он оказался на фоне наступающей облачности, но еще подсвечивался утренним Солнцем. И как-то мне этот вид очень понравился.

There is a rapeseed field on the left side of the road. I can tell you now. that rapeseed doesn't grow there anymore. I got there just at the time when combine harvesters were driving around the field and collecting this very rapeseed. Rapeseed is made into oil. Currently, there is a big advertisement for this oil, but I have never eaten it.
By the way, I already wrote about this field at the beginning of the summer.

С левой стороны дороги располагается рапсовое поле. Теперь уже можно сказать. что рапс там уже не растет. Я попал как раз в то время, когда по полю ездили комбайны и собирали этот самый рапс. Из рапса делаю пасло. В настоящее время идет большая реклама этого масла, но я его ни ращу не употреблял в пищу.

The guys were in a hurry to remove the entire crop from the field, they worked without stopping. I wanted to wait for them to turn their faces towards me, but they decided not to go in the opposite direction, but turned right and went away from me.

Ребята торопились убрать весь урожай с поля, работали без остановки. Я хотел подождать, когда они повернут свои морды ко мне, но они решили ехать не в обратную сторону, а повернули направо и пошли от меня.

And a lonely little mountain ash near the road.

И одинокая маленькая рябина около дороги.

Okay. I decided that I should turn back and walk to a small lake that was formed at the site of lime stone mining about 40 years ago. This summer, a lot of people came there, Everyone wanted to swim in this lake. People were traveling even from the regional center. People saw photos of this lake in social networks, or rather the water of this lake. It is very similar to the waters in Bali. Clear azure water. That's what attracted people to this place.

Ну ладно. Я решил что надо повернуть назад и дойти до небольшого озера, которое образовалось на месте добычи известкового камня лет 40 назад. Этим летом туда приезжало очень много людей, Все хотели покупаться в этом озере. Люди ехали даже из областного центра. Люди увидели в соцсетях фотографии этого озера, а точнее воды этого озера. Она очень похожа на воды в Бали. Прозрачная лазурная вода. Именно это привлекло людей к этому месту.

By the way, they decided to repair the road. And why did they decide to do this in the fall? Probably, this should have been done in the spring or early summer.

Кстати, дорогу решили отремонтировать. А почему это решили сделать осенью? Наверное, это надо было сделать еще весной или в начале лета.

And where did this stone come from? It's a stone from a local quarry. It is extracted in a quarry and crushed at a building materials plant. Yes, the plant is working. Stone crushing is a very loud, noisy process.

А откуда этот камень? Это же камень из местного карьера. Его добывают в карьере и измельчают на комбинате стройматериалов. Да, комбинат работает. Измельчение камня - это очень громкий, шумный процесс.

When I turned off the road towards the lake, I realized where the stone was brought to the factory from. The quarry where the stone has been mined for the last 30 years has already been fully developed. There were attempts to mine the stone illegally in new places. But now the producers have decided to mine the stone at the old quarry, where I was just heading. The road to this lake was even repaired, it was filled with crushed stone.

Когда я свернул с дороги в сторону озера то понял откуда возят камень на комбинат. Карьер, на котором добывали камень последние 30 лет уже полностью выработан. Были попытки добывать камень нелегально на новых местах. А вот теперь решили добывать камень на старом карьере, куда я как раз и направлялся. К этому озеру даже отремонтировали дорогу, отсыпали её щебенкой.

This place has changed in the last couple of weeks. The approaches to the lake were dug up. But in the summer, there was a lot of talk in social networks that a large number of people harm the ecology of the lake, that a lot of garbage remains on the shore. And what do we have now? I think that soon there will be no lake. I think I will check the condition of the lake in 2 or 3 weeks.
Это место изменилось за последние пару недель. Подходы к озеру перекопали. А ведь летом в соцсетях было много разговоров о том, что большое количество людей вредит экологии озера, что на берегу остается много мусора. А что же мы имеем теперь? Я думаю, что скоро озера не будет. Я думаю, что проверю состояние озера через 2 или 3 недели.

The task is completed. I looked at the lake. But I decided to add a view of the lake a little at other times - in June of this year and last fall.

Задача выполнена. Я посмотрел на озеро. Но я решил добавить вид на озеро немного в другие времена - в июне этого года и еще осенью прошлого года.

It was evening. The sun was going down. I came to this place with my daughter to mow grass for rabbits and walk our dog Grafa. She was still sighted then.

Это был вечер. Солнце шло на закат. Я приехал в это место с дочкой, чтобы накосить травы для кроликов и выгулять нашу собаку Графу. Тогда она еще была зрячей.
