Dude I just wished ego downvoting would cease. @ngc used to be the kind of that and so I am disappointed to see my colleagues on Hive do the same. You and I are of the minority worldview for now but what they may not understand is the deplatformed looking for a place to rest their head are likely to be of our ilk. If they have money to invest, it would only serve to benefit them to refrain from this sort of conduct.
Think they fool themselves if they think the dominant ideological swath of the internet has any incentive to join Hive. They aren't being censored because their discourse is within the parameters set by big tech. You and I on the other hand have to worry about shadowbans, censorships and wondering whether our tweets and posts are ending up in the internet black hole because we choose to think outside the box. The algorithm doesn't take kindly to that sort of thing.
I hope @acidyo and others think deeply about our words or they could just ignore them but to their own detriment. I would caveat this by saying I respect acidyo and am always happy to engage in discourse on any and all controversial topics if there is any particular point of contention.
I would urge you to try to hash things out with him if possible. It would be best for all involved I think.

He's called me a lot of things, insinuated that he'd meet me along with including things about death, knows where I live, etc. Do you think people like that should have a positive reputation? That was even before I started downvoting him.
And yeah, not in the mood of receiving dm's by people who return to hive at an ATH asking to check their posts out, there's plenty of new users who have yet to disappoint me I'd rather give a chance to than those returning now.
