Remembering the Christmas of my childhood: Barbie a Christmas Carol

Hello dear community of Hive, I hope you are very well, today is a pleasure to come with a review of a movie which I am very fond of since my childhood and which I saw recently and is that I have felt Christmas a little off in my heart this year, but Barbie in a Christmas story reminded me what is important.

Hola querida comunidad de Hive, espero se encuentren muy bien, el día de hoy es un placer venir con una reseña de una película la cual le tengo mucho cariño desde mi infancia y la cual vi hace poco y es que he sentido la navidad un poco apagada en mi corazón este año, pero Barbie en un cuento de navidad me recordó lo que es importante.

I really thought a lot about doing this review and writing for me heals the soul a lot and more when you are sad but I also want my words to arrive in a proper way and I know that this is an adaptation of the famous work of the British writer Charles Dickens known as Christmas Carol, there are many films that adapt this story and I know that Barbie's is not the best known, Maybe it was preferable to choose Scrooge's Ghosts which is more faithful to the story, but there is a reason Barbie in a Christmas Carol was one of the first movies I put as a child in my DVD at the beginning of December, I even scratched the disc  but I haven't seen it for a long time and this moment of nostalgia I could see it and remember and reflect new things.

Realmente pensé mucho en hacer esta reseña y es que escribir para mi sana mucho el alma y más cuando estas triste pero también quiero que mis palabras lleguen de manera adecuada y sé que esta es una adaptación de la famosa obra del escritor británico Charles Dickens conocida como cuento de navidad o canción de navidad, hay muchos filmes que adaptan esta historia y sé que idóneamente la de Barbie no es la más conocida, tal vez era preferible escoger los fantasmas de Scrooge que es como más fiel a la historia, pero hay una razón Barbie en un Cuento de Navidad era una de las primeras películas que colocaba de niña en mi DVD al comienzo de Diciembre es más hasta raye el disco  pero hace mucho no la veía y este momento de nostalgia pude verla y recordar y reflexionar cosas nuevas.

The movie is from 2008 (a little old if) I am aware that compared to the current Barbie animation, it looks a little outdated but it is still careful enough to see it accompanied by the little ones of the house, the story as such is a story that Barbie tells her little sister who does not want to celebrate Christmas by doing things different from previous years, She tells the story of Eden, a singer in Victorian England who was very selfish and did not celebrate Christmas, she treated her employees very badly and did not let them celebrate Christmas and on Christmas Eve she receives a visit from three spirits from the past, present and future.

La película es del 2008 (un poco viejita si) soy consciente que a comparación de la animación actual de Barbie, se ve un poco anticuada pero sigue siendo bastante cuidada tanto como para verla acompañados por lo pequeños de la casa, la historia como tal es un cuento que Barbie le dice a su hermana pequeña la cual no quiere celebrar la Navidad por hacer cosas diferentes a los años anteriores, le cuenta la historia de Eden una cantante de la Inglaterra Victoriana la cual era muy egoísta y no celebraba la navidad, trataba muy mal a sus empleados y no dejaba que celebraran navidad y en la noche buena recibe la visita de tres espíritus del pasado, presente y futuro.

Well if we have ever seen any adaptation of A Christmas Carol we know what is the essence of it, here Eden is very selfish even his philosophy of life was "In a selfish world only the selfish triumphs", something I remember as a child is that I did not tolerate his attitude, But today I understand her past, it is difficult to change the essence of the environment in which we grow up because at the end of the day that environment molds different attitudes that we take when we grow up, so it is not like I see her with the same eyes, that is why it is important to look at the past to understand certain things about the attitudes of others.

Bueno si alguna vez hemos visto alguna adaptación de Cuento de Navidad sabemos cuál es la esencia del mismo, aquí Eden es muy egoísta incluso su filosofía de vida era “En un mundo egoísta solo triunfa los egoísta”, algo que recuerdo de chiquita es que yo no toleraba su actitud, pero hoy en día entiendo su pasado es difícil cambiar la esencia del entorno en el que crecer porque al fin y al cabo ese entorno de crecimiento moldeas diferentes actitudes que tomamos de grande por ello ya no es como que la vea con lo mismo ojos, por eso es importante mirar al pasado para entender ciertas cosas de las actitudes de los demás.

Obviously Eden's attitudes had repercussions in one way or another in her current environment and that is what shows us the spirit of Christmas present, which made me sad because in reality she does not have a bad heart but it is not as if it helped to change her mind in her lifestyle, just have to see that in this type of film until they see that they will have a pretty bleak future is not like they really open their eyes before their actions because in this aspect if the reaction of the character is as crude, and is that above all we care about our welfare and it is completely human that reaction.

Obviamente las actitudes de Eden repercutía de una u otra forma en su entorno actual y eso es lo que nos demuestra el espíritu de las navidades presentes, cosa que me dio tristeza porque en realidad ella mal corazón no tiene pero tampoco es como que ayudara a cambiar de opinión en su estilo de vida, solo hay que ver que en este tipo de películas hasta que no ven que tendrán un fututo bastante desolador no es como que abren realmente los ojos antes su acciones porque en este aspecto si es como cruda la reacción del personaje, y es que ante todo nos importa nuestro bienestar y es completamente humano esa reacción.

But leaving aside the plot as such the message is hopeful at Christmas and the important thing is to give instead of receiving and I would add that the important thing is to reflect instead of continuing to make the same mistakes, I really would like some spirits to visit me and it is not to see my future or much less, it's to go back to my Christmas past and give a big hug to those people who are no longer at the table today, Christmas is synonymous with sharing, giving thanks and reflecting, that's really the message of the Christmas story and this time Barbie shows it to us, I give it a 10/10 and I'm sorry the little girl in my heart is rating this movie.

Pero dejando de lado la trama como tal el mensaje es esperanzador en navidad y es que lo importante de dar en vez de recibir y yo le agregaría que lo importante es reflexionar en vez de seguir cometiendo los mismos errores, realmente yo si quisiera que algunos espíritus me visitaran y no es para ver mi fututo ni mucho menos, es para regresas a mis navidades pasadas y darle un gran abrazo aquellas personas que ya no están en la mesa hoy en día, la navidad es sinónimos de compartir, dar gracias y reflexionar ese es el mensaje en realidad de cuento de navidad y esta vez Barbie nos lo muestra, le doy un 10/10 y lo siento la niña de mi corazón esta puntuando esta película.
