Myths that affect our canines
Hola querida comunidad de HIve, espero se encuentren muy bien. El día de hoy quiero venir hablarles de nuevo sobre nuestras queridas mascotas y más específicamente sobre nuestros perros y es que alrededor de ellos existen muchos mitos los cuales unos a veces cree pero por ello, les traigo 4 mitos más comunes y que todo el mundo cree que de ellos (incluso yo creía).
Hello dear HIve community, I hope you are very well. Today I want to come to talk to you again about our beloved pets and more specifically about our dogs and is that around them there are many myths which some sometimes believe but therefore, I bring you 4 most common myths and that everyone believes about them (even I thought)
“Los perros deben tener una cría antes de ser esterilizados”/"Dogs must have a breeding before being sterilized."
Creo que es una pena que las personas crean esto cuando no tiene ningún fundamento científico y de salud, muchas personas con mascotas incluyendo mayormente perras dicen que deben tener una camada antes de ser esterilizados cuando no es asi, si se esteriliza antes estaría ayudando a su salud y también controlando el abandono a animales a nivel mundial.
I think it is a shame that people believe this when it has no scientific and health basis, many people with pets including mostly dogs say that they must have a litter before being sterilized when it is not so, if sterilized before would be helping their health and also controlling the abandonment of animals worldwide.
“Los perros son completamente domesticados”/"Dogs are completely domesticated."
La verdad es mucho más fácil domesticar un perro que un gato, pero hay que tener en claro que sigue teniendo su instinto por eso muchas veces comenten travesuras y nosotros no lo entendemos y muchas veces lo regañamos o inclusos personas de mal corazón lo llegan a votar, hay que tener en cuenta que ellos siguen teniendo su instinto y necesidades que muchas veces a pesar de que se domestiquen mucho de alguna u otra manera salen a flote.
The truth is much easier to tame a dog than a cat, but we must keep in mind that they still have their instinct, that's why many times they commit mischief and we don't understand it and many times we scold them or even bad-hearted people vote for them, we must keep in mind that they still have their instinct and needs that many times even though they are tamed in some way or another they come to the surface.
“Los perros viejos no pueden aprender”/”Old dogs can't learn."
Una de las creencias tristes es que un perro que tiene sus años o ya no es un cachorro no se puede adaptar o aprender nuevos trucos siendo una excusa muy común para no adoptarlos y siempre recurrir a un cachorro, cuando en realidad LA EDAD NO TIENE NADA QUE VER todo está en el entrenamiento y la socialización adecuada, siempre tendremos en cuenta que nuestros amigos caninos son muy inteligentes.
One of the sad beliefs is that a dog that has its years or is no longer a puppy can not adapt or learn new tricks being a very common excuse for not adopting them and always resort to a puppy, when in reality AGE HAS NOTHING TO DO with the training and proper socialization, we will always keep in mind that our canine friends are very intelligent.
“Los perros ven en blanco y negro”/"Dogs see in black and white."
Es algo completamente falso, se cree y se ha investigado que los perros posiblemente tienen una visión dicromática, lo que significa que ven el mundo en tonos de color azul y amarillo y también en gris, aunque si es verdad que no tiene una visión como la de los humanos no es como todo el mundo piensa.
It is something completely false, it is believed and has been investigated that dogs possibly have a dichromatic vision, which means that they see the world in shades of blue and yellow and also in gray, although it is true that they do not have a vision like that of humans is not like everyone thinks.
Estos son algunos mitos que son importante de aclarar, ya que afectan de una u otra manera a nuestras mascotas, crianza, estilo de vida y percepción sobre ellos, espero que haya sido informativo, nos leemos pronto.
