My Opinion of the Once Upon a Broken Heart trilogy (Stephanie Garber)

Hello dear Hive community, I hope you are very well. As always it is a pleasure to come and talk to you in this beautiful community of books and I feel that I have fallen a little behind with the continuity of my readings but before that I want to close cycles hahaha and I want to give my general opinion of the trilogy "Once Upon a Time A Broken Heart" a story that was a roller coaster.

Hola querida comunidad de Hive, espero se encuentren muy bien. Como siempre es un placer venir hablarles en esta hermosa comunidad de libros y es que siento que me he atrasado un poco con la continuidad de mis lecturas pero antes de eso quiero cerrar ciclos jajaj y es que deseo dar mi opinión general de la trilogía de “Erase Una Vez Un Corazón Roto” una historia que fue una montaña rusa.

While I can say that my review of each book individually can be found in my profile here I will try to give you my opinion without Spoiler in case you have not read it and you are encouraged to read it. In this set of books we can find Evangeline a girl who lost her parents and lives with her stepsister and stepmother, her stepsister is going to marry the boy she likes so she goes to the prince of hearts and asks him to help her to separate them but everything goes wrong, from there begins this wonderful adventure.

Si bien puedo decir que mi reseña de cada libro individualmente lo pueden encontrar en mi perfil aquí les intentare dar mi opinión sin Spoiler por si no la han leído se animen a leerla. En este conjunto de libros podemos encontrar lo a Evangeline una chica la cual perdió a sus padres y vive con su hermanastra y madrasta, su hermanastra se va a casar con el chico que le gusta por ello va hasta el príncipe de corazones y le pide que le ayude a separarlos pero todo sale mal, de ahí comienza esta maravillosa aventura.

Once Upon a Broken Heart/Erase Una Vez Un Corazón Roto (Book 1)

We have a first book like Once Upon a Broken Heart that made me want to hate Jacks and Evangeline for different reasons however it doesn't take away from the fact that the story was interesting but also convenient. In this part of the story it wasn't like it shiped both main characters because it didn't really, there were other characters that even though they weren't main characters still brought something to the story (here I liked Apollo) but the ending left you with a pretty promising intrigue and because of that you kept reading the book.

Tenemos a un primer libro como Erase Una Vez Un Corazón Roto que me hizo querer odiar a Jacks y a Evangeline por diferentes motivos sin embargo no quita que la historia fuera interesante aunque también conveniente. En esta parte de la historia no era como que shipeaba ambos protagonistas porque en realidad no, habia otros personajes que a pesar de que no eran principales seguían aportando algo a la historia (aquí Apolo me caía bien) pero el final te dejaba con una intriga bastante prometedora y por ello tu seguías leyendo el libro.

The Ballad of Neverland /La Balada de Nunca Jamás (Book 2)

Then we have The Ballad of Neverland, the second book of the trilogy which tells us how they seek the stones of the Valory Arch and we also see much more interaction between the characters, it is definitely my favorite book as there are many unexpected twists and turns plus we can see the background of the character of Jack made him want it but certainly what I loved was the end, it is one of those endings that you do not expect and want to keep reading but you just have to wait for the other book.

Después tenemos a La Balada de Nunca Jamás, el segundo libro de la trilogía el cual nos habla de cómo ellos buscan las piedras del Arco Valory y vemos también mucho más interacción entre los personajes, sin duda es mi libro favorito ya que hay muchos giros inesperados además de que podemos ver el trasfondo del personajes de Jack hizo quererlo pero sin duda lo que ame fue su final, es de esos finales que no te lo esperas y deseas seguir leyendo pero solo debes esperar el otro libro.

A Curse For True Love/Una Maldición Para El Amor Verdadero (Book 3)

The last book of this story is A Curse For True Love, I feel it could have been more...it was expected to be a legendary book because of how the second book ended but mostly I feel it was filler and Fan Service. We had almost no scenes of Evangeline and Jacks that were worth much worthwhile rather we had unnecessary Apollo perspectives (no one loves you) several characters just disappeared like Tiberius and others lost relevance, maybe what was most worthwhile is the fact that you know where all that curse stuff came from and it had a good ending but I feel like not the book I was waiting for.

El último libro de esta historia es Una Maldición Para El Amor Verdadero, siento que pudo ser mas…se esperaba un libro legendario por como termino el segundo libro pero más que todo siento que fue relleno y Fan Servicio. No tuvimos casi escenas de Evangeline y Jacks que valieran mucho la pena más bien teníamos perspectivas de Apolo innecesarias (nadie te quiere) varios personajes desaparecieron sin más como Tiberius y otros perdieron relevancia, tal vez lo que más valió la pena es el hecho de que se sabe de dónde venía todo aquello de la maldición y tuvo un buen final pero siento que no el libro que estaba esperando.
