This time it's a very special brawl, because for the first time we're playing with Barracks in level 2, and that means we're battling with the Gladiators cards. Once again, I asked players to share their battles in chat for easy viewing. Here follow a few.

I've fully documented my own brawl battles in the two-part blog Thanks to #FHREE guild I play gladiator cards for the first time.

Our membership management should also be mentioned here. In recent weeks, there has been repeated pressure on the open guild slot. We play a sophisticated contribution system whereby as of yet at the beginning of each brawl a player has to leave the guild to make room for a new or re-entry player. I have been publishing my notes on this as Member Management Notes for some time.

The result of the brawl was very close: equal on points with the first-placed team and only inferior to it because our guild is slightly lower with all players in the league comparison (see table at the end).

@prxhunter was the first to share a battle in chat. Here is a fire for 3 mana with Ranged 2 called "Sarius" who licks blood twice.

From @naive-god here's a life for 7 mana with magic 3 and sniper named "Captain Katie" who licks blood 4 times.

And also from @naive-god here a water for 5 mana and opportunity called "Isgald Vorst" who licks blood 2 times, and would not have survived the ruleset "Poison" without this.

And again @prxhunter, again with Sarius, who licks blood once between the many cards, but doesn't really come to play.

@thelunacysystem with a Hugo Strongsword for 5 mana as a gold foil, which is throttled to level 1 because it is played in a Novice Fray. The Common Goldfoil is already level 3 normally, but he only loses one heart and one speed because of it. The Gladiator gets a lot of action when he gets into tank position, but doesn't really lick blood. Finally, on turn 6, it does, and in time to get through the fight. But even if not, the third tank would have certainly made the game.

Once again @thelunacysystem, now with an "Orella Abadon" for 2 mana with Sneak. In round 3 it licks blood. That same turn, the Serpent of the Flame tank falls and the Gladiator gets to the front row. There he licks blood a second and a third time and victoriously survives the battle.

With the deck of @sm-rules, there are no gladiator battles, as the likelihood of drawing gold foils without using power stones ought to be low. And as far as brawls go, the deck is played exclusively in the gold foil frays.

First, a perfect Alric Stormbringer Water with double healing and the Chicken as an enduring buffer thanks to Equilizer.

And as the second opponent in the GF fray @gorbith from the guild Kings of Kombat, who fled because he didn't have a GF summoner at the time.

And finally, a battle by @thelunacysystem from outside the brawl, in which a rare Gargoya Devil with Deathblow destroys a Legendary Minataur Warlord summoned by a Legendary Llama. Worth watching!

Diesmal ist es eine ganz besondere Rauferei, denn wir spielen erstmals mit Barracks in Level 2, und das bedeutet, wir kämpfen mit den Gladiatoren-Karten. Ich bat die Spieler mal wieder, ihre Kämpfe im Chat zu teilen, um sie leicht ansehen zu können. Hier folgen ein paar.

Meine eigenen Rauferei-Kämpfe habe ich komplett dokumentiert in dem zweiteiligen Blog Dank #FHREE-Gilde spiele ich erstmals Gladiatoren-Karten.

Auch unser Mitglieder-Management sei hier erwähnt. In den letzten Wochen ist wiederholt Druck auf den offenen Gilden-Platz. Wir spielen ein ausgeklügeltes Beitragssystem, mit dem bisweilen am Beginn einer jeden Rauferei ein Spieler die Gilde verlassen muss, um einem Neu- oder Wiedereinsteiger Platz zu machen. Hierzu veröffentliche ich seit geraumer Zeit meine Notizen als Member Management Notes

Das Ergebnis der Rauferei war denkbar knapp: Punktegleich mit dem Erstplazierten und nur deshalb diesem unterlegen, da unsere Gilde mit allen Spielern im Ligavergleich leicht unterlegen ist (siehe Tabelle am Ende).

Und noch mal @prxhunter, nochmal mit Sarius, der zwischen den vielen Karten zwar einmal Blut leckt, doch nicht so richtig zum Zug kommt.

@thelunacysystem mit einem Hugo Strongsword für 5 Mana als Goldfolie, der auf Level 1 gedrosselt ist, da er in einem Novice-Fray gespielt wird. Die Common-Goldfoil hat normal bereits Level 3. Er büßt darum jedoch lediglich ein Herz und ein Tempo ein. Der Gladiator kommt heufig zum Zug, als er in die Tank-Position kommt, leckt jedoch nicht so richtig Blut. In Runde 6 schließlich ist es so weit, und zwar rechtzeitig, um den Kampf zu überstehen. Doch selbst wenn nicht, hätte der dritte Tank das Spiel sicherlich gemacht.

Nochmal @thelunacysystem, jetzt mit einer "Orella Abadon" für 2 Mana mit Hinterhalt. In Runde 3 leckt dieser Blut. Noch in der selben Runde fällt der Tank Serpent of the Flame und der Gladiator kommt in die erste Reihe. Dort leckt er ein zweites und ein drittes Mal Blut und übersteht triumphierend den Kampf.

Mit dem Deck von @sm-rules gibt es keine Gladiatoren-Kämpfe, da die Wahrscheinlichkeit, Goldfolien zu ziehen, ohne Kraftsteine zu verwenden, gering sein dürfte. Und soweit es die Raufereien betrifft, wird das Deck ausschließlich in den Goldfolien-Frays gespielt.

Zunächst ein perfekter Alric Stormbringer Wasser mit doppelter Heilung und das Hühnchen dank Equilizer als ausdauernder Puffer.

Und als zweite Gegner im GF-Fray @gorbith von der Gilde Kings of Kombat, der geflohen ist, weil er zu dieser Zeit keinen GF-Beschwörer hatte.

Und schließlich noch ein Kampf von @thelunacysystem von außerhalb der Rauferei, in dem ein seltener Gargoya Devil mit Todeswind (Deathblow) einen von einem legendären Llama beschworenen legendären Minataur Warlord zerstört. Sehenswert!
