Playing my gladiator cards the second time - Spiele meine Gladiatorenkarten zum zweiten Mal
ENGLISH
With the extra Merits from the past brawl, I was able to get a second Gladiator pack. Without getting a double, there are now 10 Gladiators in my deck. I looked at them closely before I did my part in the brawl yesterday, since it is not possible to train freely with these cards.
I wrote more about this in my two-part series on my first game with the Gladiators: Thanks to #FHREE guild I play gladiator cards for the first time

Death | 7 | - | 4 Ranged | 5 | - | 3 | Liza Fox |
Since I'm playing an "Untamed only" Fray this time, there's a whole lot of Summoner in my deck that I can't use.
I am left with the following.
I also cannot play 157 monsters. I am left with 62 monsters including the gladiators.
Using the Untamed Summoners shown above, I reduce my Gladiators table to the essentials. Since I can only play Untamed, it is all the more important to get the Gladiators into play. That leaves me with 40 monsters, 7 of which are Gladiators. Just in case no Water, Forest or Life is playable, I'll had another quick look at Fire or Death in the table above. I will only play Dragon if nothing else works, since I don't have any Dragon Gladiators in my deck.
Splinter | Mana | Ability | Attack | Health | Armor | Speed | Name |

Now I have selected all my teams, however something strange happened: Only one fight was immediately shown as "pending". All the others showed "Waiting..." as if the opponent was selecting his team, but nothing happened. Not even a timeout. After reloading the page, the fights are shown as "pending" every time. So I haven't seen any of my fights yet as I write this down.
The brawl ended in about seven hours at that point. In the meantime, the time has come and I am now looking at the battles in retrospect.
In the first battle, only cards with 4 mana or less are allowed. Since water is completely out, the only summoner higher than level 1 left for me is the forest splinter. Even though I wondered about that at first, the choice was made pretty quickly.
So Katrelba Gobson wasn't among the playable cards either, which also took me a moment to realize that I can't make a choice about which gladiator I pick besides the only available tank.
I wasn't picky about the rest of the team at first. The Goblin Thief with four health, in case the tank falls. And the slow Parasitic Growth to the back, so the Gladiator still has some cover from behind. Lastly, I opted for the Khmer Princess instead of the Failed Summoner in second place after my time was already running pretty low.
The Khmer Princess proved to be poorly placed. The Failed Summoner would have been more stable. However, the remaining rear attackers proved to be extremely effective. The Gladiator even licks blood once. The opponent has no chance.

In the second battle, with 34 mana available, only the three Splinters I pre-selected are playable. Given the Magic hits the Armor ruleset, I opt for Life and a Shield Bearer in the second row.
Instead of going for the small Crystal Jaguar, I take the larger Elven Defender as a tank in the front row. Captain Katie I take in the back of the team, because with six hearts and hopefully several times Bloodlust I get the previously played Parasitic Growth protected in the middle this time.
The first three rounds go well, the Shield Bearer holds up well and is repaired and healed by the Summoner. Katie licks blood for once! See for yourself!!

In the sixth round, however, the opponent is alone with Kron and summoning Llama and can hardly be overcome.
However, thanks to magic stopped by armor and constant repair of just that, the battle ends in round 12 with a defeat of Kron with his Llama! Quite a big surprise!!
The third fight does not take place, because my opponent does not send a team. Unfortunately, I didn't take a screenshot of the team selection of all things, and so the memory of it is now gone.
The fourth fight again only allows the Forest Summoner from my small selection. 19 mana again isn't much, but I really want to see my 6 mana Gladiator in action with double strike.
Since armor is destroyed in the ruleset, I opt for a tank that is way too expensive. And I use the remaining 2 mana again for the Khmer Princess. If I had already seen my first battle, I probably would have used the Failed Summoner here. But that unfortunately was spoiled for me.
And so it came as it had to come. The much too slow Princess was again quickly beaten. And also the Gladiator, although it still came to bloodlust once, could not withstand the opponent.
The enemy Living Lava then missed my tank twice. But the Serpentine Spy is finally enough to give my team the final blow. In the end, their explosive ability made it easy for the opponent's Summoner.

The fifth battle finally again allows forest and life. But since only 19 mana are available, I decide for the smaller summoner and now give Katrelba Gobson a brilliant appearance.
I actually suffer the loss of my small tank, but Katrelba then licks blood twice and finishes off the opponent thanks to the double strikes.

The delay of not being able to watch the battles immediately took the wind out of my sails and in a complete second attempt demanded a lot more time for this report. I hope this does the reading pleasure but no harm and you leave me a comment there, what you liked it about it well.
And now again we hope to see you soon!

DEUTSCH

Katie leckt einmal Blut! Schaue selbst!!
https://splinterlands.com/?p=battle&ref=anjanida&id=sm_8dJBKagIYB2wlz3EUGq4
https://splinterlands.com?p=battle&ref=anjanida&id=sm_iat9UEUmynFAbDINgzFb
