Preface
I wanted to start this preface with a quote that came to my mind during heated exchanges in the chat. However, I have not found it, yet. It is a wonderful phrase about words and vulnerability and I am pretty sure I had it from Naomi Aldort. Anyway, I've asked her already and hope to share it with you some other time. Now to the rough and the tough stuff.
It looks like there are some disappointed expectations regarding the development of our guild. However, I have no clear idea what those expectations are or were. I am at a loss as to what triggered fait accompli for the time being, but we are apparently now moving forward without Discord. That's all I can say about it without speculating or badmouthing anything. I don't go there. If running the Discord server became too much work, it's good to stop. I am not here to run Discord servers, but to play Splinterlands with Guild. Anyone who wants to contribute to the guild is welcome. And only as long as they want to do so.
I am not here to discuss the procedures, but to defend them. That doesn't mean they can't be changed. But it takes someone's lifetime to provide procedures unless an automation is created - if at all - which takes someone's lifetime. Now as soon as someone has unmet expectations of someone else's role, we are no longer in the realm of #FHREE. Making experiences with that, that's what I want to make myself available for. So LFG!
Is it also your observation that it pays to read contracts, guidelines and such things backwards? That is, from back to front? Here it is now, because in the front is what is constantly changing in everyday life (schedule and table). So I moved these parts up here, following this preface right away. At the end, however, are the important things. These also change occasionally. Although I don't remember that being the case here. That's why I put it on-chain. You can find all past notes there until I started doing so. What has definitely changed, however, is the choice of words, so that what may have been misunderstood before is now hopefully clearly misunderstood. LMAO. And for everything else, hopefully we can talk (or chat) and do our own research. That is DYOR!
Now since our Discord is gone, let's revivify the chat through peakd for being able to converse with those who don't have a spot in our guild (or lost it) and to be sparing with the messages in our guild, so that important or internal things don't get lost or overlooked there. This is all I am asking: Post important things - or links to them - in the guild chat so that every member can see that something is happening and immediately make their own decisions regarding those things. Changing a favorite is such a thing. Those who are lower in our score table should immediately have the opportunity to react to the decisions above. Don't expect someone else being your emissary, but be someone's emissary if you see fit and want to be it.

If you are new to this
Become familiar with the member management, please. Because the guild spots are precious, the last in our list will be removed regularly. That is part of our procedure as noted in the addendum linked at the bottom. And if you don't acknowledge all this within the first 2 hours after you joined, you may be removed without notice right away. How can we know? Well, you'll see! And any questions are welcome anytime!
Please understand, it is not on me to show comprehension. I'll do the best I can! Though this guild is somewhat managed like a DAO. That is Decentral Autonomous Organisation. So I simply follow the procedures that have evolved here by now. And for when you become passive and no one can reach out to you in time, ugly things can happen. As documented in past notes. If you want to join and stay, we can make that happen even with presently no open spot available. We may schedule it for that you can be there the moment our weakest contributor is removed. Sounds familiar somehow? Like with a mob abandoning their weakest offspring to survive a predator attack. Your contribution needs to be enough for not being the weakest. Everyone who got removed is welcome any time again. It's just that contributions from earlier are at zero any time an account re-joines.
What we expect from any enduring member, in a nutshell:
Priority A: Some contribution within the last 2 brawls. Without at least 1 DEC even a quest scroll will make this, if the Lodge is not maxed out for the rest of a season.
Priority B: Be not the weakest contributor in our mob the moment an auction ends. This moment is when a new brawl starts. The second to last score in the list is bold highlighted. That is the tide you need to take in DEC without scrolls added to the lodge yet for outpacing that account.

Watch out for the human traffickers at hivefest. You wont know it until its too late. STAY AWAY! Beware, traffickers can be women or men! They will act nice until they dont.
