Wind, rain and wild oceans reshape my beach

Walking on the beach is not always sensible I tell myself if relentless drenching rain, strong winds and wild oceans are pounding the sand. So, for the third time this year as hard as it was I chose to stay at home, warm and dry with a book and cups of tea listening to the rain falling on the roof, the whistling wind and the loud roar of the surf.

As it always does, the weather eventually eased and I was dressed in a flash and stepping through my garden gate to explore how the rough weather had reshaped the beach. It was as usual later in the afternoon, a favourite time of mine. I was not disappointed.

Not surprisingly I was not the only avid walker/sticky beak checking out the the weather effects on the ocean and beach. The full moon was making the tides extra high.

The golden sunset colours in the clouds was a sight for sore eye after being locked up inside for a week. I was really with the reflection of the clouds on the wet sand.

No way was I walking on the sand on the beach, I have already learned this lesson the hard way! The incoming tide was coming in hard and fast right up to the edge of the sand dunes.

For the first time ever in 7 1/2 years steep sand dune cliffs had been formed all along the beach front. I had no option but to stay up on the cliff edge to take photos if I wanted to stay dry. I love this scene of the pink sunset colour, the dark rain cloud and sea mist on the ocean

I could see and feel the intense strength of the ocean imagining how very rough and fierce it must have been during the worse of the bad weather.

The full realisation of the strong force of the wind and ocean came to me when I saw the seaweed, logs and tree branches on the beach. How thrilling it would have been to see them tossed around from one beach somewhere nearby to be then dropped off here.

I am not sure who built these little hut structures from the bits of logs and branches dumped on the beach from the ocean. It does seem to be an ongoing trend right now.

As always the beach is a forever changing wonderland, nature's creative show entertaining beach lovers like me. It does not matter how many times I walk the beach at whatever time of day, I am very privileged to view the many priceless pieces of beach canvases. I am never bored with this beach. Instead feeing energised with the salt air, the beachy atmosphere and the amazing lights in the sky.

Before I finish my Wednesday Walk post I send gratitude to lovely guy @tattoodjay, the creator and manager of the #Wednesdaywalk tag.

Hi @tattoodjay, it was a really cool walk but then I say this about all my walks, hahaha.
I would love to actually see whoever makes these wooden 'wigwams' and talk to them. It would make an interesting story I think.

That would be interesting to meet the person that Makes them, I did meet when I lived in CT a person that did rock sculptures, he was so talented

What about the artists who create beautiful sand and ice sculptures only for them to disappear. I am thinking it is all in the process, the artistic expressions.

Rain is still hanging around so hence the cloud. But of course we have lots of wonderful days when there is only blue sky. Best wishes @hsidsik
