A study of a jug ...... SMASh/Contest- Round 219

(Edited)

A little jug of cream and its shadow fired my imagination when I sat on my own in a little cafe recently. I had all the time in the world for fun experimentation with photography.

This is my first photo of the jug casting its shadow on the table. I like the blue effect which I am thinking happened from the glare picked up by the camera. I might an amateur photographer I might be wrong so would appreciate any helpful explanations.

It was the cream on the edge of the jug that inspired me to try a black and white filter. I really like this effect.

And so I decided to keep experimenting with black and white and I had some time to waste!

For my shadow finale I arranged the cup and saucer, the jug and the spoon for a combo of shadows.

It is this last shadow that I choose to be my shadow hunting contest entry for round 219.

It is not the end until I acknowledge and thank @melinda010100 and her team of hard working Shadow Hunters for their continuing organising, judging and contributions to this highly successful long running fun contest.

A lovely still life of Shadows! Nicely done. The blue may have been something reflecting on the table top? Thanks for entering the shadow contest again ♥️

Yes, I was thinking the same, just interesting that it turned a blue colour.
The still life was a bit of fun @melinda010100.
