Fresh from my latest trip. Today I have had a great Saturday night. I did dinner at a local restaurant that is relatively inexpensive.

I deliberately chose a cheap local restaurant because I really wanted to compare restaurants that had higher prices, even though they were both local restaurants. I've always believed that there is a price that is worth paying, although sometimes there is a price that we shouldn't pay at all when we are in a restaurant with a higher price.

These things are like luck that we cannot predict at all. Sometimes we go to random restaurants and find lots of nice things in our lives, like wonderful surprises. But sometimes there are also really annoying things that make our life feel so bad at the same time, then we feel like we have spent money in vain (only for food at restaurants that we think are not worth that price at all .)

Regardless of whether the price is decent or not, I finally decided to stop by a local restaurant whose name is really hard for me to mention.

I will only share about the name of this local restaurant via the front image of this restaurant. I found this restaurant in the city center but also not far from my brother's house where I lived before.

OPEN 24 HOURS

The local restaurant I stopped at this time is open 24 hours. This is because the location of this local restaurant is on the Cross Road between cities. This restaurant is never empty when I noticed this restaurant a few days ago. Because that is also what made me finally decide to stop by this place.

24 hours is also the restaurant opening time which is important to me because I prefer to go out at night. I like going to cafes that close not too early. That makes me have the freedom to enjoy the menus that I ordered. I hate it when I feel rushed to finish the food I bought with my own money. Do you guys too?

I came around 9 pm after my work and my partner's work was finished. My partner and I are so grateful to have found this place. 24 hour opening time and I no longer have to worry about rushing to finish my food.

MY DINNER

There are quite a lot of choices of heavy food menus available at this local restaurant. Indeed, the menus are adapted to the local menus of the people around here. But you don't need to worry because I'm sure your tongue will accept the taste of these foods. Don't worry, at this local restaurant there are no very spicy side dishes (although there is a spicy fish menu for those who like spicy). So, those of you who can't enjoy spicy flavors don't need to worry.

Well, for dinner I chose fried rice. I also didn't forget to ask the restaurant waiter to give me an egg sunny side up on it. Apart from sunny side up eggs, you can also ask the restaurant waiter to add other side dishes which have many choices available at this local restaurant. For example, fried chicken, grilled chicken and various types of side dishes made from fish.

Then how about the taste? Even though the price of the meal for dinner that I enjoyed was not more than 1 dollar, it tasted quite good. But this one is not really something out of "standard taste". We really can't ask for something delicious food that is out of standard if the price is cheap. So, we deserve to appreciate dishes that are cheap and also delicious enough to be enjoyed by our tongues.

By the way, have you ever tasted fried rice before? If you've never been to an Asian restaurant, you can also make your own fried rice at home. There are lots of fried rice recipes available on the internet. All you have to do is search for the recipe, then cook it at home. Actually, it's quite easy if you have a supply of rice. Then, you stir-fry with seasoning with various kinds of fillings: such as sausages, meatballs, eggs. Another thing, don't forget to add fresh vegetables to create a fresh impression on it.

One tip from me when enjoying this fried rice is that I use crackers to scoop the fried rice. I feel the pleasant sensation of the crispy crackers blending directly with the texture of the fried rice. This is the way my family and I usually do it since my childhood. Makes you remember tabout my late mother.

For the drink, I only drink a glass of ready-to-drink water which is given free of charge. For your information, in my area, we have to buy drinking water at certain cafes when we buy food.

So, actually this thing in the local restaurant really appreciates its people by providing free drinking water. Quite valuable and quite meaningful for those of us who are saving on a travel budget.

Opening hours 24 hours, check! Great variety of food! A taste that can be accepted by the tongue, check! Then, there is a pleasant atmosphere here. We can feel the warm atmosphere. This will make us feel comfortable.

I noticed, this room feels like a living room with quite unique lights.. The lights are designed to create warmth. Meanwhile, on the walls there are framed photographs, there is also a uniquely designed clock.

My partner and I really enjoyed our dinner. Even though it looks simple, this is quite impressive for us. It's quite affordable for us, which can save our expenses during the trip. And the most important thing for me and my partner is that we feel happy here and our taste buds are satisfied with dishes that are relatively cheap but don't taste cheap. Total $3 for two plates of fried rice and a cup of Sanger Expresso.

Found A Cute Cat 😍😍😍

By the way, I found a cute cat staring at me. As seen this foreign cat wants to be friends with me.

In the end that cat approached me. Since I only had crackers, I gave that cat crackers. It turns out that this foreign cat likes crackers. great.

COFFEE AFTER DINNER

The city of Banda Aceh is famous for its coffee. There are lots of coffee shops ranging from simple coffee shops to expensive classy cafes. All of this is available in the city of Banda Aceh using coffee beans whose quality is unquestionable. You really have to try the local coffee beans from Aceh for yourself if you visit this amazing city of Banda Aceh.

So after dinner, I decided to order a cup of coffee. I chose "Sanger Espresso". Sanger is a blend of coffee with sweetened condensed milk. The taste is unique and has always been my favorite coffee in this area.

After stirring, "Sanger Espresso" will look like a mixed drink of milk and coffee in general. The taste of coffee and the smell of coffee are quite strong. They use an espresso machine to serve this type of coffee, according to the name of this coffee menu. Quite impressive, in a local restaurant like this there is also an espresso machine to make delicious coffee!

While sipping my coffee, I smiled at some of the people who passed in front of me, with the intention of having dinner too which was already late.

I feel better able to interact with local residents. Although to be honest, I only interact with just a smile. I'm not good at the traditional language they use. So just smiling is the right choice. Ehehehe.

That was the story about the dish for dinner that I had. I am very excited to return to this restaurant. Indeed, I was not in my city. So I feel uncomfortable borrowing someone else's kitchen, even though he belongs to my biological brother. So a cheap local restaurant is the best choice for my current condition.
