Once Upon A Snack Time by Cha Time

Snack time! The combination of sweet and savory is an interesting thing to try to fill the stomach before dining in.

Enjoying a snack package at Cha Time Outlet.

Have you ever tried milk tea drinks from the Cha Time brand before? I think it's quite popular and their outlets are spread across several countries.

Initially Cha Time brand only provided various variants of tea drinks and they were best known for their boba/tapioca pearls beverage product. I like the milk tea drink the most that they serve. Unforgettable sweet and savory.

I don't think they want to miss the market. So, finally, they released new products about food. Let's find it more!

Once Upon A Snack Time

What a great tagline they carry to market their products. So, ”Once Upon A Snack Time” is a drink package that also includes a snack. They claim the price is cheaper when compared to buying a drink or food menu without a package.

I quite agree with that. Also, the number of menus purchased by customers increases, so they don't lose. A good marketing strategy, in my opinion.

There are several 'Once Upon A Snack Time' packages provided by Cha Time. They all focus on snacks that are easy to take away and eat on the go.

I saw that they were all snacks that adopted "Korean Street Food". And it is mouthwatering!

So I bought a package containing Roasted Milk Tea, Rapokki, Odeng, and fried sausage. I can't wait to taste them.

Rapokki

Honestly, I'm not a fan of food nor do I know exactly about these foods. But I'm always happy to taste that Korean street food if there is a chance for it.

First, I tried Rapokki. This is a type of noodle that has a tapokki topping. I'm a noodle lover, so I was excited to try this menu for the first time.

Rapokki tasted quite savory, with the texture of dry noodles without gravy which was also delicious. The tapokki topping was soft and chewy.

I feel there is a cheese ingredient in this bowl of noodles. It enhances the taste even more. It never hurts to try this menu again next time.

Are you interested in trying rapokki? With a little thick gravy sauce, it will give a sensation of comfort and pleasure to the tongue.

Fried Odeng and Sausage

Cha Time wants to show the impression of satay on the snacks they serve. So they use skewers to serve odeng and also fried sausage.

Odeng in Satay style.

I love these two types of snacks. The sauce is slightly sweet, savory, and slightly spicy. Add a sprinkling of sesame seeds to enrich the texture.

fried sausages.

I like the texture of the fried sausage. Soft enough and easy to eat. Meanwhile, I don't like the texture of the odeng, although I like the taste.

Cha Time Roasted Milk Tea

There are many variants of roasted milk tea served by Cha Time. I asked a waiter to recommend a favorite roast time menu there.

Based on these recommendations, I finally chose roasted milk tea by their signature, “cha time roasted milk tea.” I'm used to drinking roasted milk tea by Cha Time. So I really like this drink. To this day it is still my favorite drink. :)

There are sesame seeds spread on top of this nodless, right? Don't you ever feel the taste of chili when eating this nodless?
