El 31 de enero de 2015, lanzó el álbum Mon Laferte Vol.1, el cual incluye la canción. El 21 de agosto de ese mismo año el álbum fue relanzado y remasterizado, esta vez a través de Universal Music, donde se incluyó una nueva versión de «Tu falta de querer», la cual se diferenciaba por el cambio de un solo de guitarra por uno de piano.

Está semana fue un momento donde hubieron sentimientos encontrados con esta canción junto con mi amigo Jesús pudimos recobrar todos eso sentimientos que Mon laferte expresa en esta hermosa canción, por mi parte yo la ame ya que es una de mis canciones favoritas, cabe resaltar que cuando le propuse el hacer este cover a Jesús el sé sintio muy conmovido ya que es una canción muy fuerte pero de una tarde completa pudimos lograr este cover espero que les guste
