Birds Can Sing So Beautifully ~ Especially Skylarks 🎶

Sometimes I watch interesting documentaries on several of the Netflix Nature channels on UK TV. Some can get a little boring, while others teach me a huge amount about Nature and Wildlife in general. Also the many Nature themed "Box Sets" are really great to watch.

I truly believe that they do actually sing in perfect harmony. These Birds have been recorded perfectly, and I'm now sure that I have heard Skylarks in my local woodland areas.

Skylarks can hear the difference between friendly neighbours and dangerous strangers, and deal with any threatening intruders, says new research by scientists at Queen Mary, University of London.

Male skylarks learn to recognise local dialects in their neighbours' individual songs, remember where each neighbour is supposed to be and reprimand intruders who don't belong in the neighbourhood. This is according to a study carried out by Dr Elodie Briefer, a postdoctoral researcher at Queen Mary's School of Biological and Chemical Sciences.
