Mi servicio comunitario en una ONG llamada MAPANI
Luego de un tiempo sin publicar contenido en Hive, hoy vuelvo con el propósito de compartir con el mundo una de las cosas que me ha tenido realmente ocupado de un tiempo para acá. Estoy terminando el noveno semestre de mi carrera de Desarrollo Humano en la el Decanato Experimental de Humanidades y Artes en la UCLA en la ciudad de Barquisimeto, que por cierto, me acabo de enterar que Hive realizará un evento en los próximos días. Pero, siguiendo con el punto que me trae hoy frente a ustedes es que he estado realizando mi servicio comunitario, que como saben es un requisito previo para graduarse.
After a while without publishing content on Hive, today I return with the purpose of sharing with the world one of the things that has really kept me busy for a while now. I am finishing the ninth semester of my Human Development career in the Experimental Decanate of Humanities and Arts at the UCLA in the city of Barquisimeto, which by the way, I just found out that Hive will hold an event in the next few days. But, following with the point that today brings me in front of you is that I have been doing my community service, which as you know is a prerequisite for graduation.
Como lo han leído en el titulo, estoy realizando mi servicio comunitario en una ONG llamada MAPANI, y pues, para quienes no conozcan esta organización no gubernamental, debo decir que tiene como objetivo general velar por los derechos de los niños y niñas de Venezuela. A traves de la ejecución de proyectos sociales que atienden las dimensiones y necesidades en el área de la salud, nutrición, atención psicológica y asesoría jurídica
As you read in the title, I am doing my community service in an NGO called MAPANI, and well, for those who do not know this non-governmental organization, I must say that its general objective is to safeguard the rights of children in Venezuela. Through the execution of social projects that attend to the dimensions and needs in the area of health, nutrition, psychological attention and legal advice
Pero no solo atienden a los niños, sino que también a las madres y básicamente mi servicio comunitario se ha enfocado en ellas, ya que se han realizado diagnósticos que nos han ayudado a comprender y darnos cuentas cuales son los principales problemas que tienen, una de las cosas que más nos ha llamado la atención es que a grandes rasgos no conocen cuales son las leyes que protegen a la mujer en Venezuela. Por este motivo el servicio se ha enfocado en ayudar a las diferentes madres con las que hemos tenido contacto para que puedan ser mujeres más consientes y empoderadas, bridándoles herramientas que puedan serles de utilidad.
But they do not only attend to children, but also to mothers and basically my community service has focused on them, since diagnoses have been made that have helped us understand and realize what are the main problems they have, one of the things that has most caught our attention is that in general they do not know what the laws are that protect women in Venezuela. For this reason, the service has focused on helping the different mothers with whom we have had contact so that they can be more conscious and empowered women, providing them with tools that may be useful to them.
En cuanto a las actividades que hemos realizado destacaría la llevada a cabo el día 19 de mayo. En conmemoración al día de las madres realizamos un taller con las madres, con la finalidad y objetivo principal de hablarles esencialmente del empoderamiento, y luego destacaría el taller que se realizó el pasado 16 de junio, justo el día de ayer, donde principalmente se hizo una ponencia junto a diferentes actividades, todo relacionado en poder explicarles de que trata la ley orgánica sobre el derecho de las mujeres a una vida libre de violencia, en donde resaltaría que dicha ley se menciona que existe 21 formas diferentes de violencia hacia la mujer.
The activities that we have carried out stand out the one carried out on May 19. In commemoration of Mother's Day we carried out a workshop with the mothers, with the main purpose of talking to them essentially about empowerment, and then I would highlight the workshop that was carried out on June 16, yesterday, where mainly a presentation was made together with different activities, all related to being able to explain what the organic law on the right of women to a life free of violence is about, where it is mentioned that there are 21 different forms of violence against women.

"Artículo 1. Esta Ley tiene por objeto garantizar y promover el
derecho de las mujeres a una vida libre de violencia en el ámbito
público y privado, creando condiciones para prevenir, atender,
sancionar y erradicar la violencia contra ellas en cualquiera de sus formas y ámbitos, arraigada en la discriminación sistémica contra las mujeres especialmente cuando se encuentran en situación de vulnerabilidad, impulsando cambios en los patrones socioculturales que sostienen las relaciones desiguales de poder sobre las mujeres, para favorecer la construcción de una sociedad justa democrática, participativa, paritaria, protagónica y libre de violencia".

"Article 1. The purpose of this Law is to guarantee and promote the
right of women to a life free of violence in the public and private
areas, creating conditions to prevent, attend,
sanction and eradicate violence against them in any of its forms and areas, rooted in the systemic discrimination against women especially when they are in a vulnerable situation, driving changes in the sociocultural patterns that sustain unequal power relations over women, in order to favor the construction of a just, democratic, participatory, equal, protagonistic and violence-free society."

La educación es de gran importancia en el desarrollo de un país, también forma parte de las tres dimensiones del Desarrollo Humano y por ende, tiene pertinencia a la hora de abordar temas que en la actualidad son de gran relevancia, por parte de la población a nivel mundial, nacional, regional y municipal ya que, es un tema que forma parte de toda dinámica social.
Education is of great importance in the development of a country, it is also part of the three dimensions of Human Development and therefore, it is relevant when addressing issues that are currently of great relevance, by the population worldwide, national, regional and municipal since it is a topic that is part of every social dynamics.
Por esta razón mi servicio comunitario, centra su interés en materia de derechos humanos para la prevención de la violencia de género, en este caso nos enfocamos en quienes asisten a la ONG MAPANI, ya que, basándonos en el ordenamiento jurídico internacional, se establece que acceso a la información es un Derecho Humano, y por medio del Diagnóstico que se realizó en la organización, se detectó, que el mismo está siendo afectado, por lo tanto, este proyecto tiene por intención, utilizar, la herramienta de la educación como un generador de información preventiva acerca del tema, para así formar a las mujeres y puedan tener mayor capacidad de identificar cuando se encuentren frente a una situación de violencia, así mismo, disminuir la cantidad de mujeres que poseen desconocimiento sobre el tema.
For this reason, my community service focuses on human rights in the prevention of gender violence. In this case, we focus on those who attend the NGO MAPANI, since, based on international legal regulations, it is established that access to information is a Human Right, and through the Diagnosis carried out in the organization, it was detected that it is being affected. Therefore, this project intends to use the tool of education as a generator of preventive information about the subject, in order to train women and have a greater capacity to identify when they are facing a situation of violence, as well as to reduce the number of women who have no knowledge about the subject.

Creo que la labor que hacen en esa ONG es sin duda algo fundamental y que no solo intentan trabajar en el problema, sino que apuntan humanamente posible a las causas que siempre son múltiples cuando hablamos de cuestiones realmente complejas.
