Queridos lectores hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un dìa diferente al lado de mis estudiantes, en el cual tuve la virtud de formar parte de esta gran sorpresa.

Dear readers, today I want to share with you a different day with my students, in which I had the virtue of being part of this great surprise.

Debido a la grave crisis econòmica existente en mi paìs Venezuela muchos padres no cuentan con los recursos econòmicos necesarios para la compra de ùtiles escolares, ya que si les soy sincera el sueldo de un venezolano no da ni para comer dos dìas y muchos menos para comprar ùtiles escolares que requieren sus hijos para su educaciòn.

Due to the serious economic crisis in my country Venezuela many parents do not have the necessary economic resources to buy school supplies, because if I am honest with you the salary of a Venezuelan does not even give enough to eat for two days and much less to buy school supplies that their children need for their education.

Yò como maestra me colocò en la situaciòn de aquellos padres a los cuales se les hace imposible comprar la lista de ùtiles de sus hijos e hijas, ya que muchos no cuentan con un trabajo estable y viven de de lo que consiguen a diario. Esto es algo triste pero real ahorita hemos implementado tantas estrategias de estudios en Venezuela, ya que los niños no van con un cuadreno a la escuela sino con hojas de reciclaje, porque sus padres no tienen para comprar un cuaderno nuevo y mucho menos para comprar una resma de hojas blancas.

As a teacher I put myself in the situation of those parents who find it impossible to buy the list of supplies for their sons and daughters, since many do not have a stable job and live on what they get every day. This is something sad but real now that we have implemented so many study strategies in Venezuela, since the children do not go to school with a notebook but with recycling sheets, because their parents do not have the money to buy a new notebook and much less to buy a ream of white sheets.

Por tal motivo esto habia creado en mi una gran preocupaciòn y luego de varios dìas meditando toda esta situaciòn se me ocurriò una gran idea, la cual fue la de dirigirme a muchos entes gubernamentales para realizar solicitudes de donaciòn de ùtiles escolares, para mis estudiantes meti muchas solicitudes incluyendo la alcaldìa y la gobernaciòn del estado Monagas; siempre confiando en DIOS para que esto se hiciera realidad y sin duda alguna obtuvè una respuesta de forma inmediata me llamaron y me dijeron que mi solicitud habia sido aprobada, esto para mi fue un logrò maravilloso el que me hayan dado respuestas tan ràpido no lo podìa creer.

For this reason this had created in me a great concern and after several days meditating all this situation I came up with a great idea, which was to go to many government agencies to make requests for donation of school supplies for my students I put many requests including the mayor and the government of the state of Monagas; always trusting in GOD for this to become a reality and without a doubt I got a response immediately they called me and told me that my request had been approved, this for me was a wonderful achievement that they have given me answers so fast I could not believe it.

Al comunicarse conmigo me dijeron que mi solicitud habìa sido aprobada y que debìa comunicarme con todos mis estudiantes y sus representantes, para que estos reciban su donaciòn, la cual constaba de un block de dibujo, un block de construcciòn, un block de papel lustrillo, una caja de tempera, una pega, una tijera punta roma y una caja de colores. Luego de esta extraordinaria noticia les preguntè ¿Cuàndo y como serìa esa entrega? y ellos me respondieron Hoy mismo diganos la hora y la cantidad ràpidamente les respondì a las cuatro de la tarde y son 30 estudiantes 16 niñas y 14 niños.

When they contacted me they told me that my request had been approved and that I had to communicate with all my students and their representatives, so that they would receive their donation, which consisted of a drawing block, a construction block, a block of glossy paper, a box of tempera, a glue, a blunt scissors and a box of colors. After this extraordinary news I asked them when and how this delivery would be and they answered Today tell us the time and the quantity I quickly answered them at four o'clock in the afternoon and there are 30 students, 16 girls and 14 boys.

Despuès de recibir esta gran noticia fui a la casa de mi directora y le comunique la situaciòn ella se sorprendiò, pero me dijo que no habìa ningùn problema de prestar las instalaciones del preescolar para recibir tal donaciòn. En ese momento comencè a llamar y a enviarle mensajes de textos a los padres y representantes, para que asistieran a la instituciòn con sus niños y niñas para hacerle la entrega formal de esta donaciòn; dichos padres se quedaron sin palabras ante esta sorpresa los citè a las cuatro de la tarde; ya que primero debìa acondicionar y ambientar el lugar llame a varias madres las cuales me prestaron su colaboraciòn para aconducionar y ambientar el lugar donde sus hijos e hijas iban a recibir los kit escolares.

After receiving this great news I went to my director's house and told her the situation and she was surprised, but she told me that there was no problem to lend the facilities of the preschool to receive such a donation. At that moment I began to call and send text messages to parents and representatives, so that they would attend the institution with their children to make the formal delivery of this donation; these parents were speechless with this surprise, I called them at four o'clock in the afternoon; since first I had to prepare and set the place I called several mothers who gave me their collaboration to prepare and set the place where their sons and daughters were going to receive the school kits.

Cabe destacar que llegada la hora pautada las cuatro de la tarde los padres y representantes fueron apersonandose con sus niños y niñas al lugar donde se encontraba la directora de la instituciòn mi personas y las demàs personas que hicieron posible este gran regalo. Todos mis estudiantes al recibir sus kit escolares se notaban muy alegres y felices, esto es algo que como persona, madre y profesional me diò tanta dicha el llevar un poco de alegrìa a tantas familias es algo verdaderamente un milagro; la sonrisa de un niño o niña no tiene precio y me alegra mucho haber sido yò quien llevarà tanta felicidad a esos niñas y niños, los cuales son el futuro del mañana nada es imposible para DIOS y la fe lo puede todo.

It should be noted that when the scheduled time of four o'clock in the afternoon arrived, the parents and representatives went with their children to the place where the director of the institution, my people and the other people who made this great gift possible. All my students when they received their school kits were very happy and joyful, this is something that as a person, mother and professional gave me so much joy to bring a little joy to so many families is truly a miracle; the smile of a child is priceless and I am very happy to have been the one who will bring so much happiness to these children, which are the future of tomorrow nothing is impossible for GOD and faith can do anything.

Papàs no tengo palabras, para decirles que este dìa ha sido muy significativo y emotivo para mi hasta llorè de tanta felicidad el ver a cada uno ustedes con sus niños y niñas recibiendo este regalo es verdaderamente fabuloso. Que hermosos se ven en compañia de sus hijos e hijas.

Dads, I have no words to tell you that this day has been very meaningful and emotional for me, I even cried from so much happiness to see each one of you with your children receiving this gift is truly fabulous. How beautiful you look in the company of your sons and daughters.
