¡Hola, hola mis queridos amigos cocineros! Hoy me entusiasmé en preparar esta receta, que aunque se ve complicada, es un trabajo super sencillo de hacer. Se trata de una rica papa gratinada con zanahoria y calabacín que junto a una salsa bechamel le da un gusto muy delicioso. Además de que es un plato distinto y se sale de la rutina, perfecto para sorprender a alguien.

Veamos que necesitamos para esta receta.

Hello, hello my dear cooking friends! Today I was excited to prepare this recipe, which although it looks complicated, it is a super simple job to do. It is a delicious potato au gratin with carrots and zucchini that together with a bechamel sauce gives it a very delicious taste. Besides being a different dish and out of the routine, it is perfect to surprise someone.

Let's see what we need for this recipe

ingredientes

  • 1 kilo de papa
  • 2 Zanahorias grandes o 5 pequeñas
  • 1 Calabacín

Para la bechamel

  • 500 ml de leche
  • 2 cucharadas grandes de harina
  • 3 a 4 Cucharadas de mantequilla
  • 1 ajo grande
  • Sal y pimienta
  • Nuez moscada (opcional)

Ingredients

  • 2 large or 5 small carrots
  • 1 Zucchini

  • 2 large spoonfuls of flour
  • 3 to 4 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 large garlic
  • Salt and pepper

Empezaremos precalentando nuestro horno en la temperatura más alta: 200 C° y mientras calienta cortaremos la papa y la zanahoria en círculos más o menos gruesos para que al momento de meterlo al horno no se deshaga.

We will start by preheating our oven at the highest temperature: 200 C° and while it is heating we will cut the potato and the carrot in more or less thick circles so that when we put it in the oven it does not fall apart.

Como siguiente paso colocaremos primero la zanahoria a hervir por un rato hasta que se suavice un poquito y después agregaremos la papa. En la fotografía coloque la papa y zanahoria juntos porque la zanahoria estaba ya un poco blanda así que no habría problema de ponerlas juntas. Eso sí, no las dejen mucho tiempo, saquen todo antes de que se suavicen por completo para que en el horno se terminen de hacer.

Ahora, mientras tenemos nuestras papas y zanahorias hirviendo, podemos adelantar la salsa bechamel. Aquí comenzaremos agregando en una olla o en un sartén hondo de 3 a 4 cucharadas de mantequilla hasta que se derrita por completo.

Luego agregaremos la harina y un poquito de leche e iremos mezclando con las varillas para evitar los grumos. Cuando sientas que comienza a espesarse procederemos a verter un poco más de leche y así sucesivamente hasta que adquiera la consistencia que desees. Después agregaremos el ajo bien molido previamente en el mortero junto a la sal y pimienta.

Ahora con gran parte de los pasos completos, cortaremos el calabacín lo suficientemente grueso con el fin de que al meterlo al horno no se deshaga. Háganme caso, se ve super grueso pero cuando lo saquen verán que estará casi deshecho.

Ya que tenemos nuestra salsa lista, las papas y zanahorias blandas,y el calabacín cortado, tomaremos la fuente para horno, o en mi caso, un molde para torta porque no tengo fuente jaja y le agregaremos aceite para evitar que se nos queme lo que vamos a poner. Después colocaremos nuestra base de papa y zanahoria y echaremos la primera cucharada de bechamel. Luego agregaremos más papa y zanahoria con calabacín, salsa y así sucesivamente.

Finalizaremos echando lo que nos quede de salsa encima de todo y rallaremos bastante queso. Lo ideal seria echar queso entre capas también, así que si pueden háganlo, le dará un gusto tremendo. Para finalizar meteremos todo al horno por 15 a 20 min o hasta que veas que el queso se derritió.

The ideal would be to add cheese between stages as well, so if you can do it, it will give a tremendous taste. Finally, put everything in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until you see that the cheese has melted.
