[ENG|ESP] Como recibí el año 2022 | How I welcomed the year 2022

¡Hola nuevamente mis amados amigos de Hive! Les cuento que he estado algo perdida puesto que justo el último día del año mi celular, el cual es mi herramienta de trabajo, casi dice bye. Y digo casi porque gracias a mi novio @hectorfaria1 quien es un experto en todo, pudo traerlo a la vida de nuevo. Por ello les cuento hoy como fue nuestro fin de año.

Hello again my beloved Hive friends! I tell you that I've been a little lost since just the last day of the year my cell phone, which is my work tool, almost said bye. And I say almost because thanks to my boyfriend @hectorfaria1 who is an expert in everything, he was able to bring it back to life. So today I tell you how was our end of the year.

Les comento que para este día me propuse un reto y fue de cocinar por primera vez en mi vida el tradicional pasticho que se sirve en la cena de año nuevo. Sé que ya hay muchas recetas por aquí pero pronto les enseñaré como fue mi experiencia realizando este plato que pensé que sería más complicado pero realmente no lo es tanto. Me siento muy orgullosa de este trabajo.

I would like to tell you that for this day I set myself a challenge and that was to cook for the first time in my life the traditional pasticho that is served at New Year's Eve dinner. I know there are already many recipes here but soon I will show you how was my experience making this dish that I thought it would be more complicated but it really is not so complicated. I feel very proud of this work.

Luego de que estuvimos un buen rato en la cocina, eran ya cómo las 8 y aún nada que nos habíamos arreglado. Mi cabello estaba recién lavado y tenía que arreglarmelo así que rápidamente todos nos fuimos a arreglar.

After we had been in the kitchen for a while, it was already about 8 o'clock and we still hadn't gotten ready. My hair was freshly washed and I had to fix it so we all quickly went to get ready.

Admito que soy una de esas chicas que se tarda un buen rato arreglándose. Pero solo lo hago cuando es una ocasión especial y es que quería terminar el año de la manera más especial posible. Aunque del apuro (porque me tarde de más) no pude hacer lo que usualmente hago todos los años cuando se va a culminar el año y es que siempre me gusta sacar la maleta para asegurar un buen viaje jaja así sea en el interior del país pero cualquier viaje es bien recibido. Sin embargo, este año se me pasó pero lo recibí junto a los que más quiero

I admit I'm one of those girls who takes a long time to get ready. But I only do it when it's a special occasion and I wanted to end the year in the most special way possible. Although the rush (because I took too long) I could not do what I usually do every year when the year is going to end and I always like to take out my suitcase to ensure a good trip haha even if it is in the interior of the country but any trip is welcome. However, this year I missed it but I received it with the ones I love the most.

Y obviamente no podíamos finalizar la noche sin jugar nuestra partida de cartas en familia

And obviously we could not end the evening without playing our family card game.

Este fin de año lo disfrutamos mucho en familia y es algo de lo que me siento sumamente agradecida, de poder pasar lindos momentos junto a las personas que amo y de que gracias a muchas de las oportunidades que hemos tenido este año no nos faltó nada en nuestra mesa.

Que este año este lleno de muchas bendiciones para todos y que consigan ese impulso para hacer todo lo que se han propuesto. Que a partir de este mes sea un borrón y cuenta nueva para lo que no se logró el año pasado, este año se pueda hacer y mucho más. Este es el año de las nuevas oportunidades, de metas exitosas y de empoderamiento. Ya no se vale decir no puedo, ahora toca decir si puedo, soy capaz y lo lograré 💜

¡Muchos éxitos para todos este año, se que serán grandes en lo que tienen propuesto!

We enjoyed this year end with our family and it is something that I feel very grateful for, to be able to spend beautiful moments with the people I love and that thanks to the many opportunities we have had this year we did not lack anything on our table.

May this year be full of many blessings for all of you and may you get the impulse to do everything you have set out to do. May this month be a clean slate so that what was not achieved last year can be done this year and much more. This is the year of new opportunities, of successful goals and empowerment. It is no longer valid to say I can't, now it's time to say yes I can, I am capable and I will achieve it 💜.
