Visit a restaurant from my childhood 🥺
Creo que todos en algún momento de nuestras vidas, visitamos lugares que por más insignificantes que parezcan marcan ciertas etapas o los recordamos con mucho cariño. En mi caso tengo varios lugares con los que me pasa esto, o con los que cuando los recuerdo digo " me acuerdo de cuando hice tal cosa aquà " o " me acuerdo de la última vez que vinimos ".
Este fin de semana que pasó, estuve en Puerto La Cruz, estado Anzoátegui, cómo yo no soy de ahÃ, tenÃa tiempo sin frecuentar diversos lugares a los que iba antes, no sólo en Puerto La Cruz, si no en LecherÃa, Barcelona y sus zonas cercanas.
I think that at some point in our lives, we all visit places that, no matter how insignificant they may seem, mark certain stages or we remember them with great affection. In my case I have several places with which this happens to me, or with which when I remember them I say "I remember when I did such and such a thing here" or "I remember the last time we came here".
This past weekend, I was in Puerto La Cruz, Anzoátegui state, as I am not from there, I had some time without frequenting several places I used to go before, not only in Puerto La Cruz, but also in LecherÃa, Barcelona and nearby areas.
El último dÃa que estuvimos ahÃ, por cosas de la vida, la bomba de gasolina a la que Ãbamos casi siempre cerca del lugar donde nos quedabamos estaba cerrada, asà que mi papá decidió que fuéramos un rato hacia los lados de LecherÃa, primeramente porque algunas bombas de esa zona si estaban abiertas y podrÃamos echar ahà como de costumbre. Pero al ver que ya era bastante tarde y tenÃamos prácticamente todo el dÃa haciendo diligencias y sin almorzar, eran como eso de las 3:30/4pm, asà que al salir de la gasolinera prácticamente en la misma avenida se encontraba este lugar al que recordaba venÃa de pequeña en algunos viajes con mis papás, recuerdo que antes su fachada era un poco diferente y en las aceras se ponÃan señores que vendÃan pelÃculas de Barbie y yo pedÃa que me las compraran 😅.
The last day we were there, due to life, the gas station we used to go to almost always near the place where we stayed was closed, so my dad decided to go to the side of LecherÃa for a while, first of all because some gas stations in that area were open and we could get gas there as usual. But seeing that it was already quite late and we had practically all day running errands and without lunch, it was about 3:30/4pm, so when we left the gas station practically on the same avenue was this place where I remembered coming as a child on some trips with my parents, I remember that before its facade was a little different and on the sidewalks there were gentlemen selling Barbie movies and I asked them to buy them 😅.
En fin, en este lugar venden pollo asado, con su respectiva yuca frita, salsas, coca cola o lo que desees tomar y los contornos que desees añadir. Me gustó visitarlo porque a pesar de que no es el restaurante más lujoso, me transportó a esos momentos de pequeña, y el servicio es bueno, las personas son amables, te indican la mesa en la que puedes sentarse según tu número de acompañantes, y la comida está lista bastante rápido. Una de mis cosas favoritas son las bolitas de yuca sancochada, puesto que quedan super esponjositas y si las ves de esa manera parecieran bolones de plátano.
Anyway, in this place they sell roast chicken, with its respective fried yuccright"a, sauces, coke or whatever you want to drink and the garnishes you want to add. I liked visiting it because even though it is not the most luxurious restaurant, it transported me to those moments when I was little, and the service is good, the people are friendly, they tell you the table where you can sit according to the number of companions, and the food is ready pretty fast. One of my favorite things are the boiled yucca balls, since they are super fluffy and if you look at them that way they look like banana balls.
Pero sin duda la mejor parte, es que si vas en la tarde como a las , 4/4:30 más o menos la hora que yo fuÃ, la luz de la tarde y del sol, se refleja en las mesas que son de madera ( country) a través de los ventanales y se ve bastante bonito y siento que da mucha paz. Mi idea principal era sentarme en esas mesas pero luego me indicaron otra un poquito más alejada asà que no pude:(. Pero fue bien estar ahà y al menos capturar algunas fotitos del momento. Además algo que me parece un súper plus es que si estás en zonas adyacentes cuentan con delivery mediante la plataforma de Pedidos Ya en la zona de LecherÃa, y no sólo eso, estaba justo comentando con mis papás en el momento que fui, que me gusta mucho cuando se ve que un restaurante o una marca invierte en la publicidad o en su imagen cómo método para vender sus servicios y se enfoca en ponerle atención también a las redes y que visualmente llame la atención, eso fue algo que me gustó también de cómo está el lugar ahora. Porque su cuenta de ig está bien presentada y te muestra opciones, combos, promociones y ese tipo de cosas que son de interés del consumidor.
But without a doubt the best part is that if you go in the afternoon at about 4/4:30 or so, the time I went, the afternoon light and sunlight is reflected on the wooden (country) tables through the windows and it looks quite nice and I feel it gives a lot of peace. My main idea was to sit at those tables but then they pointed me to another one a little further away so I couldn't :(. But it was nice to be there and at least capture some pictures of the moment. Also something that I think is a super plus is that if you are in adjacent areas they have delivery through the platform of Pedidos Ya in the area of LecherÃa, and not only that, I was just commenting with my parents at the time I went, that I really like when you see that a restaurant or a brand invests in advertising or in its image as a method to sell their services and focuses on paying attention also to the networks and that visually draws attention, that was something I also liked about how the place is now. Because their ig account is well presented and shows you options, combos, promotions and that kind of things that are of interest to the consumer.
