Hola linda comunidad de Hive 💫, espero estén teniendo una muy buena semana. Para mí la semana empezó bastante tranquila, pero el día lunes al medio día me confirmaron que ayer miércoles serían mis fotos de promoción, tanto grupal como la close up, y yo estaba tratando de no entrar en colapso😭, porque no sabía cómo resolver y hacer para arreglarme en dos días. O bueno mejor dicho, solo tenía el día martes para hacerlo. Y es que de por sí, para las cosas de graduación y eso uno se emociona mucho, esta vez fue tan rápido que ni tiempo de emocionarme lo suficiente me dió, además a penas estoy terminando el primer lapso de clases y yo digo que la verdadera emoción por la promoción empieza terminando el segundo JJAAJAJAJA.

Hello beautiful Hive community 💫, I hope you are having a great week. For me the week started off pretty quiet, but on Monday at noon I was confirmed that yesterday Wednesday would be my promo photos, both group and close up, and I was trying not to go into collapse😭, because I didn't know how to solve and do to fix myself in two days. Or rather, I only had Tuesday to do it. And the thing is that for graduation things and all that, one gets very excited, this time it was so fast that I didn't even have time to get excited enough, besides I'm just finishing the first term of classes and I say that the real excitement for the promotion starts finishing the second one JJAAAAJAJAJAJA.

En fin, ya me habían dicho que la pauta de las fotos era ayer miércoles a las 9:30am por lo tanto tendría que levantarme más temprano para estar lista a la hora. Es por eso que el día lunes cuando me confirmaron empecé a trazar un plan o una idea de cómo haría poco a poco las cosas para poder estar un poco más decente ayer. Días atrás me habían hecho el lifting de pestañas por lo tanto era algo de lo que no tenía que preocuparme mucho, ya que mis pestañas naturales son largas y con este método más el rimel se me ven super lindas y no necesito tanto. En la tarde del lunes, hablé con una de mis tantas vecinas que sé que me podía ayudar, ya que es manicurista, así que le expliqué que necesitaba un diseño sencillo y sobre mi propia uña, ya que no podía usar acrílico ni colores llamativos. Ella me dijo que fuese el martes a las tres más o menos y fue así que me hizo este diseño súper lindo.
Luego estaba la parte que si me preocupaba más que era arreglarme el cabello, inicialmente dije que solo me lo plancharía, pero casi siempre cuando tengo que estar más arregladita voy así, y quería que fuese distinto.

Anyway, I had already been told that the photo shoot was yesterday Wednesday at 9:30am so I would have to get up earlier to be ready on time. That's why on Monday when I was confirmed I started to make a plan or an idea of how I would do things little by little to be a little more decent yesterday. A few days ago I had my eyelashes lifted, so it was something I didn't have to worry too much about, since my natural eyelashes are long and with this method plus mascara they look super nice and I don't need so much. On Monday afternoon, I talked to one of my many neighbors who I know could help me, since she is a manicurist, so I explained to her that I needed a simple design and on my own nails, since I couldn't use acrylic or bright colors. She told me to be there on Tuesday at about three o'clock and that's how she did this super cute design.
Then there was the part that worried me the most, which was to fix my hair, initially I said I would just flat iron it, but almost always when I have to be more dressed up I go like this, and I wanted it to be different.

Es así cómo contacte a una vecina, que hace ese tipo de trabajos a domicilio y ella fue quien me planchó el cabello la noche del martes, para que no hubiese mucho tiempo desde que me lo plancharon hasta la mañana. Y en la mañana hablé con otra vecina más 😅 ( yo siempre pongo a correr a la gente del edificio o de la cuadra en este tipo de situaciones ) para que me hiciera unas ondas, mi idea era tenerlo lacio hasta la mitad y debajo unas ondas, y bueno así fue, ella me prestó su rizadora, y me tuve que levantar a las 7:20am para poder hacer las ondas y ver videos de cómo se hacían porque era la primera vez JAJAJA. Y luego vestirme y maquillarme súper sencillo ya que habían dicho que nada de sombras, ni cosas super extravagantes estaba permitido.

That's how I contacted a neighbor, who does that kind of work at home and she was the one who flat ironed my hair on Tuesday night, so there wasn't much time from the time it was flat ironed until the morning. And in the morning I talked to one more neighbor 😅 ( I always put the people in the building or on the block to run in this kind of situations ) to make me some waves, my idea was to have it straight to the middle and underneath some waves, and well so it was, she lent me her curling iron, and I had to get up at 7:20am to be able to make the waves and watch videos of how they were done because it was the first time HAHAHAHAHA. And then I had to get dressed and make up super simple since they had said that no shadows or super extravagant things were allowed.

Lo bueno es que salí a tiempo al colegio, y al llegar no habían muchas personas, así que mientras llegaban todos los demás lo que hicimos fue hablar y tomarnos algunas fotos, y luego nos llamaron y nos dirigieron hacia la parte del colegio donde las tomarían y ahí nos dijeron que eran por orden de llegada, así que quedé en el segundo grupo que pasó, y antes de pasar estuve recolectando algunas fotos con mis amigas para tener el recuerdo. De paso así me sentía un poco menos nerviosa, porque a pesar de que los días anteriores estaba tranquila, al llegar el momento si estaba un poco ansiosa.

The good thing is that I went to school on time, and when I arrived there were not many people, so while everyone else was arriving what we did was talk and take some pictures, and then they called us and directed us to the part of the school where they would take them and there we were told that they were in order of arrival, so I was in the second group that passed, and before passing I was collecting some pictures with my friends to have the memory. By the way I felt a little less nervous, because even though the previous days I was calm, when the moment came I was a little anxious.

Ya luego si fue mi turno de pasar, y realmente al estar ahí todavía no caía en cuenta y creo que no caeré porque sucedió muy rápido y ese es un día relativamente importante, y yo no creía estar ahí tomándome las fotos para cuando llegase el momento de la promoción como tal. Me dió bastante nostalgia ver a varios de mis amigos, ahí con su toga y birrete, la foto firmando y todo eso. Incluso me ponía nerviosa, no verme bien o que no me gustase el resultado de las fotos, pero no me puedo quejar, me veía muy muy linda😭, además de que el fotógrafo era un señor súper chévere y me subía el autoestima, aparte era demasiado detallista con las fotos y eso me ayuda a mí que soy medio " picky" con las fotos a tener la seguridad de que quedasen bien y así fué, ya quiero que me den las fotos originales tanto en digital como reveladas.

Then it was my turn to pass, and I was still there and I really didn't realize it and I don't think I will because it happened very fast and that is a relatively important day, and I didn't think I would be there taking pictures for when the time came for the promotion as such. It made me quite nostalgic to see several of my friends, there with their cap and gown, the photo signing and all that. It even made me nervous, not looking good or not liking the result of the photos, but I can not complain, I looked very very pretty😭, plus the photographer was a super cool guy and it raised my self-esteem, besides he was very detailed with the photos and that helps me that I am a little "picky" with the photos to be sure that they were well and so it was, I want to get the original photos both in digital and developed.
